Sounds like the old Dovin quote wheeled out again but shame we haven’t heard more. There were rumours he might be back around about now.

Haven't really seen him in any of the videos other than the one when he was "Back on the grass" which seems months ago. Hope he hasn't had a setback.

It’s a slow rehabilitation, it’s only November. No club likes putting time frames on players fitness. Unless it is in the one to seven days category.
Don‘t worry too much and don’t over think things.

Looks like the International call ups have not been kind to us.
Haji came back injured and looked poor after the first break.
Asante looked tired by his standards and pulled up with the hamstring problem. In his case, you cannot necessarily blame the break for the injury, but the timing makes me wonder.
JDS seemed to be ok, but less travelling was involved.
Guess it depends on the player. Ignoring peoples opinions of the players, Lati always seemed to come back fine before this season, but Palmer dropped off.
Got lucky, Trump's new directives stopped Rudoni playing for the States and why EMC is not a Jamaican international is beyond me.
Wrong thread but, makes me wonder if buying players who go to the African Nations Cup is wise. We always missed Hadji and Chippo and losing players at such a crucial time with thin squads is not ideal. Bigi caught something horrible in Africa and it ruined his career.
Are African nationals cheaper?
I get we have to buy internationals, especially if we get promoted, but it is a new consideration.
Gambia international incoming in January.

I think EMC is just waiting on paperwork.

On X it was pointed out Simms qualifies for Poland so that could be another one

BTA torn hamstring, that's going to be Feburary/March at best isn't it. :(
Wright only on grass this week, he isn't going to be ready.
Sakamoto, maybe but I suspect unlikely.

No mention of Rudoni in the article but posters here have said he didn't travel.

Overall the news is not great.

Rudoni played but not match fit. Attention seeking bullshitters strike again.

Think Wright is also not match fit yet but fingers crossed reaction for Preston

I thought Rudoni played ok for his first start back. Haji has only been out for 2 weeks so isn't going too have lost to much match fitness.
If Torp was only ill helpfully recovered and same with Tats.

KKH ankle, severity uncertain at this time.
Torp calf issue, out till Leicester game.

Worried KKH keeps getting a recurring ankle problem.
Calf strains seem to happen a lot too.

KKH Was back on the pitch at the end of the game no bandage no ice ?

As usual FL's words leave a bit of doubt but as far as we can tell...
Torp probably back Saturday at least on the bench, believed to be training this week
BTA was due back in training this week, may make the bench
KKH a couple more weeks
Dovin maybe this month

Is there any news on kessler-haydn?..

I think he is very likely to be sold to a Championship club if we are promoted or at least go out on loan to one.
We got him from Villa because they had to sell to meet Squad Cost Ratio rules (although they didn't in the end).

Frank Onyeka injury update after Coventry City win over Stoke

We should have the personnel to deal with Onyeka missing. The biggest issue seems to be that when he doesn't play Grimes sits too deep and it gives us no out balls.

Before FTT turned up Torp was playing too far forward for an 8 (almost like we had two 10's) but last game when he came on he was sitting deep with Grimes. This may have been instructions but they just both seemed too deep for me. Eccles can play as an 8 and being away is who I think I'd bring in if Onyeka doesn't make it.

Lampard has told CWR that Thomas and Rudoni are out until at least the international break.
