Hopefully hajis quad isn’t that bad
"Also Haji Wright may be out for “up to 12 weeks” with his quad muscle injury."
FL in press conference today. :cautious:

If (as suggested) that happened against Leicester then that was 1st August. 12 weeks from then is 24th October. Maybe add another 2 weeks before he could be ready to play say 60 mins and you get to 7th November.

With the international break, that is only 8 games, and if you allow a bit more time there is then a further 2 week gap to the next fixture.

Far from a precise science, but it feels realistic to hope he can provide a meaningful contribution no later than the Palace game on 21st November when the frequency of fixtures really ramps up. That would have been a total of 9 further games and 16 weeks since the injury.

No Dovin for Orient this evening - they're saying he's injured on twitter (x) :(

FL said in press conference Josh Eccles and KKH are not fit and he thinks they'll be back after international break.
Wolfenden & Haji remain longer term injuries.

First I've heard about Josh being unfit. 🤔

We really need Haji Wright back

From today's press conference, Milan and KKH are back in training.
Eccles is still a few weeks away from returning.
Woolfenden is a few weeks behind Eccles.
Wright won't be back until November at best. Whoopie!
And Amenda is, as expected, out for a few months.

From the club's website.

Head Coach Frank Lampard has confirmed Milan van Ewijk and Kaine Kesler-Hayden are back training following their recent injury lay-offs.

The Dutchman missed the 1-0 victory against Nottingham Forest while Kesler-Hayden is yet to feature this season as a result of a hamstring injury.

Lampard also provided an update on Josh Eccles, Haji Wright, Luke Woolfenden and Aurèle Amenda.

Speaking about team news at his pre-Newcastle United press conference, he said: “Milan is back training, that’s good news. We hope he’ll be right if he comes through the next few days.

“Kaine is back training with us, which is good – he’s been out for longer. Josh isn’t back yet, he had a baby recently which is good news for him but he’ll still be a few more weeks potentially.

“Haji and Woolfy will be a bit longer but they're working hard and they're getting there. Aurèle is working away, it's up to a three-month injury so we're working through that."

When asked about a timeline for Wright's return, Lampard added: "Haji won't be back until November at best and I don't want to put pressure on it because it's an awkward injury."

I didn't realise Eccles' problem was he was heavily pregnant!
