Will just park this one here.

Interesting how it's white man black man straight away in the descriptions.

Regardless, if he's gone in there with weapons to harm people then it's an attempted terror attack in my eyes so it's no different to the guy in Manchester who attacked Jews. (Aside from no casualties, but intent).

He's probably lucky he wasn't dealt with before the police got there as well. c**t.

Why was he here? Here is something that appears to be in the news almost every day.

Reading through the horrific events in that report I suspect we'll have yet another enquiry where the blame gets placed on mental health services.

I'm not sure, but as we know, those services are also at breaking point.

Hopefully it isn't something like this.

You would hope that is not the case but it appears it is not being asserted that was the case in Nottingham either. But as the enquiry only started yesterday, with over 5 hours of opening statements, I suspect we're a long way from any conclusions being drawn.
Dr. Gandhi explains in his evidence that it is part of his role to be aware of research evidence and data including patient demographic and health inequalities but it would not have affected the decision to admit or treat VC in the community which would have been based purely on his current needs acuity of the symptoms and the risks

Why are we allowing the mentally ill to come and live amongst us, especially someone as low skilled as that.

Weird, so he walked in there calm with an axe and hammer etc in his bag that he left in the main hall. No confrontation or threats.

Starmer all over it as you would expect.

Bizarre, what was he doing?
Fuck knows. Just seems strange.

Weird for a non Muslim guy to walk in with a bag with weapons in but he wasn't kicking off.

Started off that he was "armed' with them which to me is going in swinging an axe about.

Edit

Looks like he claimed to be a workman

If it's not a Stanley knife it's concerning.

basically nothing happened then.
They must think something happened as the police have made a second arrest and successfully obtained permission for further detention of the first person arrested
Earlier this morning (Thursday 26 February), we have arrested a second suspect in relation to the incident at Manchester Central Mosque on the evening of 24 February 2026.

A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a section 18 assault, and he remains in police custody for questioning.

The first suspect, a man in his 50s, who was arrested at the mosque during the initial police attendance, remains in custody. A warrant of further detention has been obtained to allow detectives additional time to continue their investigation and conduct further interviews with this man.
Meanwhile in Worcester ...
It is with deep sadness and grave concern that the Worcester Muslim Welfare Association issues this statement following a serious incident in the early hours of this morning.

Our community building, next to our new mosque, the Unity House Community Hub on Stanley Road. Worcester, was subjected to a deliberate act of arson. The matter has been reported to West Mercia Police, and we are cooperating fully with their investigation.

Is this another one of your Amsterdam moments?

It is very strange behaviour.

No, that doesn't mean arson is fine, he should be done for it if legit. Yet with every other single topic and Islam however, there is next to zero critique or just a passive denial towards every single incident and they are wave after wave. Basically every day. A post from Worcester Muslim Welfare Association though and we are all over it. I don't know why there is such a desire to stick up for people that wouldn't give a single care about you.

Something still seems strange. Instantly it was "white man and black man". When does that happen? Anybody know if the bloke who was arrested for murder in cov was a white man or black man? Just seems... Strange

No altercation, no threat. Nothing.

Axe and stuff apparently left in a bag in a room.

Starmer all over it, the Manchester mayor bloke rushes over to have photos and give a statement. Almost seems political.
