Ratcliffe getting ready to stand for Reform

Wonder what the 19 out of 31 foreign nationals in his team think about this?

Fucking state of that.

1 – Totally makes up immigration figures
2 - Complains about number of immigrants in the UK while living in a country made up of 70% immigrants
3 – Complains about the state of the UK while doing everything he can to limit how much tax he contributes to the UK

Old Brexit voter in being ill-informed and racist shocker

At least Sky News called him out on his fictional population figures this morning.
Not that the wanker will care as the no-necks will believe anything thrown at them.

He's too busy this morning sacking a couple of tea ladies to trim a bit more off the budget, so he won't be too bothered.

This is all quite triggering for some on here, but what he's saying is how a lot of the country feel. The fact Reform are leading the polls suggests just as much.

Whether he lives in Monaco or didn't get the numbers accurate to the nearest one isn't really relevant.

The UK is in a really bad place at the moment, and the level of immigration is a big part of the reason why.

So when people make up numbers that go with what you want to believe that's fine. If someone else comes out later and makes up some bullshit figures suggesting immigration is really low that wouldn't really be relevant either.

Just because people 'feel' something doesn't make them right. And part of the reason why they feel like that you have to ask who's putting those arguments forward and why? Is it because perhaps the biggest problem isn't actually the immigrants and is actually people like Ratcliffe being greedy fuckers, taking lots and giving nothing back?

Haha. "Doesn't really matter if the billionaire guy who doesn't live in the UK made up the figures...."

Never change. Might have to compare who was outraged at people pointing out a bloke in women's boxing for a laugh.

So I could counter that by saying immigration isn't an issue because only 27 immigrants arrived in the last few years and you'd just accept it because that's how I feel, even though I've made the numbers up.

Only if every time you acknowledged that only immigrants rape children and if we’d not let anyone in crime would disappear

With respect, none of you are actually taking this point and talking about it in an adult way, or have the ability to acknowledge immigration has been a problem, which it is clearly has been in the UK. It has been getting worse over the last few decades. The majority of the country feel like it is a massive issue, and do not need Ratcliffe to make their points for them. Getting caught up on where the bloke lives, or talking about whether the problem is really bad, or really really bad, is frankly playing the man instead of the ball. If he lived in Manchester and hadn't bundled the numbers, you would still be offended, but most likely wouldn't be talking about it.

There is a good chance Reform win the next election. The attitude in your three comments I have quoted is doing more for that than someone like Jim Ratcliffe.

13 year old arrested for stabbing 2 kids in a school FFS.

How many people outraged on here live close to a hmo or a hotel, out of interest? It's madness to bury heads in the sand and deny there are issues.

And round and round we go. We've had this conversation before. We have addressed those concerns in an adult way.

We've listened to those concerns and have said that immigration is indeed a factor in putting pressure on public services, housing etc. and we need to make changes. Many of us have agreed with things like border control needs to be stronger (including working with other nations), foreign criminals should be deported quickly, and applications should be processed quicker to get those who shouldn't be here out. I've personally suggested some ideas that a typical 'woke leftie' would be horrified by. But we've also showed that there is far more to it than that, and things like lack of investment, massive wealth inequality and rich people avoiding tax to help pay are all just as big issues in what is happening, and those need to be dealt with too as part of a solution.

But all we get is 'you're not listening! That's why Reform are doing well and will probably win the next election!"

No. YOU'RE not listening. You've decided that immigration is the problem and anyone that doesn't agree is wrong and not listening. Just because people like Reform are saying what you want to hear doesn't mean they're listening to you or addressing your concerns. They're treating you as a useful patsy for their own ends.

I'm sorry, but you have got this completely wrong. There's zero proof or action to suggest that you've been listening. We wouldn't still be having these disagreements if you were. The first response to the Ratcliffe comments supports this.

There's still a barrier towards criticism of the levels of immigration conversation. There's still been no action to tackle it, either. The majority of people also understand that doesn't mean you need to reduce it to zero.

I don't know how you can therefore say with a straight face you have been listening.

I can say it because we've had this conversation numerous times and we've mentioned the points you raise every time. Can't mention those points if we've not been paying attention. Some of them we admit there is something to them. We just then go on to expand the argument and look at other factors that are also part of the problem.

Where's the proof you've been listening to the responses? Where's your reasoned riposte to the points we make? It's always "you're not agreeing with me so you're not listening?"
