I pay £10 a month subscription for English Heritage membership. If you've been given refugee status you go for free!

A refugee and an immigrant aren't necessarily the same thing...

No, but why am I paying for somebody not born of this country to benefit from freebies amd handouts?

It's a charity providing refugees with free entry; you're not directly paying for them. People can't go on about others not integrating into society but then complain when a refugee wants to go and admire the country and learn more about its history.

You go down A&E and you'll see.
Drive down a street during the day and see every cafe full outside with men drinking coffee and smoking.
Go to sports centres, Alan Higgs, AT7 especially full of immigrants getting it for free.

When you say immigrants do you mean people like my Dutch missus who moved here seven years ago? How do you know?

People sitting outside cafes is just a cultural difference. We sit around someone’s house they sit outside cafes. I’m not sure you know what jobs or immigration statuses people have just by looking TBF.

Is that the model?

The boat crossing only continue because there is no deterrent! As soon as we turn them straight around on a plane to Rwanda/Afghanistan etc, there will be no deterrent and they will keep coming!

Rwanda is not a stable country.

One of the main drivers behind Brexit was to reduce immigration. All it did was replace Poles and Latvians with Pakistanis and Nigerians.

I had no interest in immigration levels when I voted

I'm sure your Dutch missus does not claim benefits

No, i dont disagree with that. One of my biggest regrets was not trying to get Australian citizenship whilst in the army.

I disagree with "leaving because x, y, or z politicians got voted in"! Just look at the Americans now with egg on their face saying they'd leave if Trump got in. All blindly following celebs. All well and good if you're Ellen and got millions in the bank to just up and move. Look like a bit of a c**t though as Joe blogs that said it because Beyoncé did, and are still sat in you're same house, with the same job, but just with a new president.

She doesn’t. She has worked pretty much every day since he arrived. But she does have a long term health condition that’s treated by the NHS. But if you saw her in the waiting room you wouldn’t know she was an immigrant is my point. Because she’s white and speaks with a British accent.

They started off there. When Israel tried the Rwanda scheme they found the majority of returns just went straight back to people trafficking routes.

I think you really underestimate how much people want to move countries.

I honestly don't think Reform have a cat in hell's chance of getting in.

As they say, a week is a long time in politics, let alone 4 years. These extreme parties always get found out.

I think if there was any danger of Reform getting in, I think Labour, the Lib Dems, Plaid Cymru, the SNP and the Greens, would probably all get together and form some sort of coalition to prevent that from happening.

Farage is all just rhetoric. He's already had to rein back on the two week nonsense. Now saying two weeks after agreement, which could take several months, even years.

I don’t think it looks good for them. Their ceiling seems to have been hit. They won’t get more mainstream without annoying the crazies. There’s no more non voters to tap.

Never say never but the conference talk of “election soon guys” was huge cope and I wonder if they know they can’t keep this up for another three years. FPTP doesn’t favour them and a majority of the country really doesn’t like them.

Most parties get a conference boost from the coverage but they got a conference dip as people saw the other mental stuff they do.

I think it depends really.

There's certainly too much in-fighting and I would say most people who would vote for them wouldn't be doing so because they necessarily like them or believe they are going to solve all the problems. It's more of a protest really.

That said, should there be another big event. A terrorist attack or such the like, or an absolute bollock drop from the Labour Party, then we might see Reform scale up again.

God help us all if that happens.

Although have a drive past Culworth Court at any time of the day and it's pretty obvious.

Don’t be so sure
Farage started with he’ll stop them in 2 weeks
Then changed to we’ll stop in 2 weeks after the legislation has gone through parliament mmmmmmmm

Blast one out of the water (an empty one, not with actual people in), but advertise it on every news channel that you have. Already enough jeopardy in crossing, add that risk and I think it would pretty much stop overnight.
