Yep I know a couple I think decriminalising drugs would be a positive step but we do need to go back to a law based societyNot just austerity. Police numbers are down because the law is against them in many ways, they can't police in the way that worked. Everyone 'knows their rights', clever solicitors, risk of someone saying or doing the wrong thing and a career ruined. It's now a profession like any other and not the right people policing. Must be so demoralising to take things all the way to trial and then see them get off on a technicality. I must know 10+ drug dealers and I'm not even a user. If I know them, the authorities must and yet they all go about their business, often with things I can't afford. I'd aso add immigration to be part of that problem. Whilst I saitd it wasn't all about that in my last post, it would be equally naive to assume it's had no impact either.
