Obviously the fixtures have been announced this morning so there's quite a buzz surrounding the forthcoming season, fans chatting about different matches and big away days etc. if the club were clever, they'd use this hype wisely, announce the first couple of signings in a press conference this afternoon with the players holding the new shirt, two birds, one stone, and an increase in Season Ticket sales before the hype goes down and people carry on with their boring summers,

but what do I know ;)

In theory, but if nobody has signed how will they do that?

There's been more rumours in the last couple of days than the preceding few weeks, I have my suspicions there's one or two on the verge of signing now, I say rush them through and gives the fans a reason to back the team. I could be wrong but I can see a player or two in by the weekend

How do they do that if no one has signed?

The problem we have is nobody at the club seems to be clever enough or interested in using the cuurent goodwill towards the club, fans where possible seem to be buying season tickets or the match packages yet they don't even have the decency to say here is a picture of the new shirt or put something on the web site were a block a day disappears as they must know what it is going to look like by now.

Don't worry, i think they are 'having the decency' of putting a pic of the shirt on the website tomorrow. Then you can have a moan about not liking the look of it and the club not having the decent to design a nice kit

I know at least 200 people who are refusing to by a season ticket until an image of the kit is released.

There have been loads of kits that I didn't like the design but bought them anyway (must be a top fan;)) to old to wear a shirt now in my opinion but my 3 children will have no choice so just hope there is not too much white in it.

The first couple of signings will be players who are out of contract with us, it's hardly made me rush towards the ticket office. Don't care about the early bird, I'm waiting for a squad to be put together before my hard earned money gets handed over again.

The novelty will wear off waving at Mowbray if he isn't allowed to bring in a competitive squad.

I renewed my season ticket the other day, but I'm on tenterhooks about this new pitch. If it's not the right shade of green I'm getting a refund.

Well that was my point. People moaning about the kit not being shown yet need a slap.

Got my season ticket already so shirts are the next thing to get, it's just about keeping the fans a bit involved during the off season

most people have another pay day before the early bird deadline, and so with no easy payment option, there will be a rush in the last 2 or 3 days of the month
As there is no ticket office open on those days - as that is when they are moving - they would be wise to keep the early bird open for an extra week

it makes sense

I think they mentioned some kind of temporary fix for tickets during the time they're moving? Could be making that up. A little extension would be a good move though, definitely.

If they were clever.... they would have the new shirts ready and available for Fathers Day.
But then if they were they would have had a Club shop full of stock ready to sell at Christmas.
Clueless.

I think the end of June is crucial because it counts towards next seasons fair play income IIRC
