I wasn't aware that Waggott pursued Mowbray, do you have a link to something about it? I wasn't aware that he was working for nothing either and here was me thinking he would be one of the highest paid managers in the league as well!

That was his job numb nuts, you shouldn't need a link to know that.

As I say it's let's believe Waggo day.

Best news in our promotion challenge is he's now with one of our rivals.

Was it? I wouldn't know what his job was and how much influence he had. He liked people to believe he was important though.

Yeah but as we've already established more than once in this thread you are a clueless twat. Just so you know it wasn't Tim "I'm in charge of the new stadium" Fisher, it wasn't Joy "Coventry who?" Seppala so tell me who that leaves?

Maybe TM appointed himself.

Last 24 hours?

Cole is shit. Cole has only ever had one good game for us and that was yesterday.

And who has gone from saying that we would not be anywhere near the top of the table at the end of the season as we only escaped relegation at the end of the last game........ to now saying that TM would be a failure if we don't end up in the top 6?

We can all read the crap you come out with. Nobody has to tell us that you are clueless.

Never said Cole was shit

Never said anything about league position either.

I'm surprised you are still around after the other day when you made an idiot of yourself regarding ranson.

Then again as you once actually said the Oystens were good owners of a football club, possibly not......

I think Grendulls critique on Cole was that the Cole experiment has failed. Which it clearly hasn't.

don't buy that at all

Its marketing speak.

Next years team will bare very little resemblance to this years, so in reality, its 2 attempts at a 1 year project.

I don't have a problem with that at all, but the mear notion that TM is building up to a promotion challenge next year cant be true, its all eggs in this years basket.

Yep I'll have to give you that one. There's a lot of games to play yet this season. Still think he's a class act though and we're lucky to have him. Hopefully yesterdays match has set the tone for the rest of the season though.

I'm confused as to Astute has become one of the attacking dogs when he was so concerned about it before. Some of the personal abuse on this thread is pretty shocking and takes away from the actual debate. The majority of Tony's posts seem to consist of attacking Grendel and making homosexual slurs.

Again, my point was that a lot of people claimed that we would end up with a budget manger, or is TM now working for SISU without pay?

If we don't get promoted yes it has.

Results have fallen away and other than the Barnsley game I cannot think of one other game we'd have not have won had he not been playing.

So our results were down to one player.
How many of the games that Cole has played in have you actually seen.
You don't go to away games but can tell he is shit from listening to the radio?
When most of the supporters that went to southend say he was our best player, you disagree, yet you never attended the game?

As I say he's not influenced results positively other than Barnsley.

Still want Burge in goal?

So are you still saying that Cole has only had one decent game for us which was yesterday?

Our bad run coincides with our defenders getting injured. You know this. But all you want to do is try and put the blame on Cole. Was it his fault for the defensive errors that have been costing us points?

Burge Not at the moment, just a shame that he wasn't treated the same as RCC by so called educated people like yourself.
Then again you don't like yourself, so how can you like anyone else.

No as I see no way we can now be automatic contenders when we were when he joined.

There has been a lot if focus on him and a lot of accommodating him and this has not overall been to the teams benefit.

You invest in someone like Cole to deliver in the big crucial six pointers when his experience and influence really matter.

To date that has not been apparent to me.

How do you work that out? I've never once said that he shouldn't have got the job in the first place and have only ever defended him to the hilt against the idiots who have failed to recognise what he's achieved since his arrival and called for him to be sacked or demanded he only has a certain number of games to sort it out.

You're so full of shit you are literally making stuff up.

To be honest I thought the only good to come out of the Coe deal. Would be that he would raise our profile helping us to sign to sign a better standard of Loanees and free transfers, just because of Coles presence.
I also thought it would be good for the younger players getting them to lift their games by training with him.
I didn't expect in 11 games he would have 1 goal and 5 assists.
The experiment has been a success for me so far.

Agreed , but he still has a chance , in my opinion though he won't make a difference , i understand people wanting him to do well after his big career and coming to Cov of all teams ,let's hope we can have many set pieces for him to shine. I would love him to work out like the marauding Dennis wise but it is not like that.

I am encouraged though by the new defenders good start let's see.

Fact is, if we'd had Cargil and Stevens before xmas, or Turner and Martin hadn't got injured. We'd be top. It was our shocking defending that lost us a chance at autos, not Cole.
