Well the bit about a 1,000 on the hill was funny. Someone who went Sunfay said there was 12 - 988 to go,

I hate to be pedantic but how big is the flat piece of land on top of the hill, you could potentially have 10.000 fans on the hill with only 10 heads showing on sky tv due to fans literally sloping off. maybe before the protest we should build a massive wooden platform sort of hidden in a wooden horse of Troy which we push up fishfaces hill and open up and 10, 000 fans spring out, that might get on sky tv, though doubtfull.

There's so many of you that are so delusional because your so desperate to stick with the 'theory' of NOPM. That in trying to do something that's best for the matter your desperation is clouding your judgement.

If you think that sky are going to give any time to some lads on a fucking hill there your a moron. The camera men don't sit on the fucking roof they are pitch level. Even if they could they would only see about 4 people. But the main point is. THEY WON'T they don't care and aren't paid to.

The BEST that can be hoped for from a protest on the hill is about 15 - 30 seconds of footage during the whole game. MAXIMUM. Followed by a brief. 'Oh there's fans deciding to watch from a hill outside. ' comment. YAY RESULT LADS. THEY MENTIONED YOU!!! And you didn't give SISU a penny. Club saved. SISU have gone & we're home with a new Arab owner & messi's on his way for a medical.

For a protest to be successful people need to get attention 1 way during a TV game is... be INFRONT of the camera. Even briefly and then a mass walk out. That will attract attention. As it takes a while to empty a stadium. Especially ones that don't have open doors as its not the time to leave.

If before we left we did things like TP the pitch. All throw on inflatables /balloons etc. (nothing to cause pain to anyone but will cause a delay) flags & songs could help but b4 a game the sound comes from inside a room with a mic but it's worth a try.

Then - at a certain point. We all leave. And join the NOPM addicts on their hill. Pass them some loose change to get them home or something & party away.

What sort of mass walk out all 2 of you probably think your going to the bog together or to buy one of those flavored pies they sell it's ok we have it all in hand be more then 15 sec I suspect QUOTE=covan;536572]There's so many of you that are so delusional because your so desperate to stick with the 'theory' of NOPM. It's funny when somebody critises someone else's idea for being rubbish then comes up with a rubbish one themselves....so you want us to protest by giving our money to sisu going into the ground throwing balloons on the pitch then walking out....well if that doesn't grab the headlines.

That would of made sense b4 the season started. But seems as a) over 1k city fans have been going to games & b) the plan was talking about the protest not jist weekly games. As in part of the protest was to get fans to go to the game. To actually protest.

Maybe we should stay at home. With our pennies. That will get noticed on sky. And yeah. A delayed kick off & then a mass walkout would defiantly get in the news. I couldn't see it not making the news. As the news... Wait for this. It's gonna blow your mind. (Written as condescending as I can. Read this like I think your a 5 year old) The news. Reports on things happening or things that have actually happened. When we don't go to games and don't do anything. There's not much to talk about. So there's nothing to report. Keep saving your pennies though chap. All the news that's bought to the situation from the national press is outstanding.

SISU don't need your money or my money. They haven't had any of mine yet and this year if they get £20 for me to go and do something that will attract attention then it's worth every penny.

I haven't been up because I can't be bothered with the whole situation at the moment it's depressing. The thing is I admit it. I can't be arsed. NOPM is just a poor excuse for people who also can't be arsed the difference is they haven't got the balls to admit it.

So you're happy to protest as long as it costs you nothing? What harm will giving SISU one games revenue when we're using it to embarrass them on live tv? And we need to forget headlines, we need to take this viral. Do it, on Sky, film it (including Sky coverage) cause a huge fuss and get it on the Internet as "Look what these passionate fans did to protest the state of their club and the football league." We've all seen videos on YouTube of the European fans with flares and South American teams fans, with hundreds of thousands of views. Let's make our protest one of those. Get it on YouTube, share it threw Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, whatever we can. It'd be better than a small Sky segment or newspaper column no one will really pay attention to.

Yes I am happy...I think that's the idea of not one penny more....it'll be even more embarrassing with an empty ground in front of the sky cameras.why travel to northampton to watch the game from the hill..ITS ON SKY. I'll be in coventry watching it with sisu's money in my pocket thanks.

You'll be at home. Not bothering (and not admitting it) blaming the NOPM campaign under the impression that you're helping. Well unfortunately. Sky pay SISU. Your watching sky. You sir are helping kill our club. You do realise that if sky have NOBODY watches the CCFC game they won't book any further games in with CCFC. This means that SISU will have less income each year. But you are adding to the viewer list that will help renew any sky/SISU deals. Hey they may get a record amount of fans watching the games and as they are moving most if our games at short notice to non Saturday at 3pm games. They may give us a slot each week. Or our own Chanel!!

Absolute disgrace.

(See how sill things can get)

Whatever the ins and outs of the Sheffield game - its on tv (apparently). It is an opportunity. Very big chance to make some kind of statement.
Would have thought a completely empty stand one side, a few lost souls behind one goal, a half empty main stand (I've seen the pictures) and possibly fewer than normal Blades fans present because it is on tv - the ground will look pretty empty anyway.
What do the Sky Blue Trust say?
Fans need to get behind an idea.

Some people are thinking too hard.

The game is live on Sky. This will stop many of our fans going to Northampton that have been going. Sheffield United normally have a decent away support. Live on sky so many won't bother. So for what should be seen as one of the biggest games of the season in Div 3 Could end up being our lowest gate in the league ever.

If this happens then they would have to talk about it. They won't blame themselves for it although it will be a part of the reason. So who or what do they blame? Only one answer for me. This would get it out in the open on live TV. There is nothing SISU could do to stop it. It would be even better if they did their usual and threatened court action on Sky. That could be the end of SISU if they had the balls to take on SKY.

I still think a mass walk out would be the best bet. If we stay in the ground after, it won't be covered because the live game has finished and the cameras won't be live anymore. It might get us a 5 minute segment on Midlands Today.

However, if we all walk out when we're sure the cameras are pointing at us then it's hard to miss. The commentators will notice it too. And it can't be in the last 20mins either otherwise it just looks like the regular early leavers.

Get everyone to walk out at the same time. Maybe have several people film it and add it to the Sky footage and we have a good chance of this going viral (who will be watching on Sky anyway?). I think we could suspend NOPM for one game, it won't make a difference on this scale. But we'd need to sell the place out, maybe have the Trust put on free coaches or something to get people there and back, and have everyone leave as one.

We don't want people getting into the habit of going to Northampton. Many of us have vowed never to set foot in their ground. The last thing we want is people deciding that, actually the journey wasn't that bad and they had a great day out.

I would go to protest on the hill, but never inside.

While I see merit in this for PR, have you considered how it would look if we're being spanked 3 or 4 nil at half time and people start leaving? Alternatively how disciplined will the walk out be if its a great game?

Could back fire badly

Think kcic is still best served by not going and forcing sisu's hands. If it is still going on in 2014 then we should arrange an attending game and pack out six fields with banners saying ' look what you are missing' also support the team not the owners etc

Suggestion for those NOPMers who have Sky: put the game on your telly, but 10 minutes into the game leave the house whilst chanting "Sisu Out!"!!! Let's stick it to Sisu and Murdock!
