Ipswich really are the only danger now I think and they have two very tricky away fixtures in Norwich and Southampton and will have to face Boro at home.
It’s all looking very good 😊

The draw was a preferred result by all concerned- it means we never lost ground to Millwall or Boro - it meant hull reinforced their playoffs position- different story if Boro or Millwall had won - i still believe we will go up Saturday mathematically as i believe boro and millwall will drop points - annoying as i am not in UK for it - i hope they get the fans village open all afternoon at the CBS - let everyone into the ground to sing and celebrate would be great as well - it will be a historic day - ironically i was in the USA the day we went down at Villa all those years ago so i am hoping this circle closes and we get back to where we belong PUSB CTID

Our performance last night wasn't as bad as some are making out. Hull started really strongly with the bit between their teeth.
I think most teams would have been pegged back due to the intensity of their attacking play. We weathered the storm and came more into the game as it went on.
It's impossible to be firing on all cylinders for every single game.

We didn't lose and gained another valuable point.

Watching was nerve racking as it wasnt one of our best performances, but now its over, 0 -0 was a good result for us. Frank is right in his assessment

Think there’s a bit of overreaction tbh. Wright and Onyeka were dreadful but mostly it was just two teams that nullified each other just as they did first game of the season.

A bit ?

Wright always gets it hard from fans when he doesnt have a good game

We are 1 win from the premier league and drew at 5th being off our best in a long hard season

Its brilliant

As I said, some of the OTT moaning on the thread (not the same as small grumbles and observations for anyone disingenuous to pretend not to be able to tell the difference), was a window into what you'll see on here next season.
This could well be as good as it gets, feel sorry for anyone who's not just enjoying it tbh. Can't wait to watch us murder Wednesday in front of a full house and get that promotion, in all but name.

I hope not , we will be favourites to finish bottom 3 but if we get behind them like we used to when we were underdogs they will give us that extra.

I have every faith frank can navigate us to survival and more with the right players

Should be a fantastic occasion before putting our feet up to watch Boro.

No-one is a danger to promotion. That's done and dusted, Ash.

Only danger is io Ipswich pipping us to top spot, but that is highly, highly improbable.

Knowing we can basically put our feet up and enjoy watching the chaos below us with 5 games to spare is insane. What an achievement. What game does the league title officially become ours do you think?

That’s complicated by Ipswich games in hand but I will stick my neck out and say the Portsmouth game.

Interesting listening to Lati (always speaks so well) that he was delayed coming back from Jamaica and Lampard had called him that night to explain why he wouldn’t be playing v Derby. Lati says he did the right thing (due to tiredness/jet lag etc) but shows the travel side often gets overlooked when considering player recovery. Great man management by the way

That’s why I wouldn’t read too much into a couple of players having a bit of an off night last night. The fact Onyeka played 180 mins over Easter is crazy really. A great away point, on a shit pitch against a team still with an outside chance of automatics is an excellent result. Sets us up nicely for Saturday !

What this team has done since Boro went to the top of the table, when some fans were losing their heads and pressure has been on week after week, has been phenomenal.

Well if they lose their Derby with Norwich, which I'm hopeful they will, I think that would help with your scenario.

I can see it being like the current auto promotion situation, where points wise we're home and dry but mathematically they could still do it by turning over a ridiculous goal difference so we have to wait

We need 10 points to confirm the title minus whatever Ipswich drop along the way, so even just a draw against Norwich then we win the next two and the title is ours if we win against Pompey I believe.

Thought 'Ull were marginally the better side, their No. 6 was the best player on the park

So shan't grumble at our point, one closer to the promised land

My only issue with last night was sitting in seat "26" and the immediate seat to the left of me was "36". I have done Hull away a few times and only noticed this last night. Not sure if anyone else saw this, but things like this does things to a man's psyche.

The only thing I can think of is that the gangway at the bottom means some seat numbers are skipped, and as it is in a corner the "missing seat anomaly" goes backwards in the stand at an angle, making it look like it skips seat numbers randomly.

It isn't too complicated ATM. 12 points plus GD in our favour. IF they win their 2 games in hand they ALSO have to win another 2 more games than us just to get level on points from their other 5. We should beat Sheffield Wednesday. If we do they then have to win 5 of their last 7 games just to draw level with us on points with us still having 4 games left. If we win 2 more games and they lose 1 at any time they have to win 6 out of 7 just to be level on points with us when we have another 3 games.

6 wins and a defeat from their last 7 for Ipswich and all we need is 2 wins and a draw. It's over when they lose 1 and we win 2 draw 1. They would be on 90 and 91 for us.

What a time for them to be away to Norwich 😁
