Interesting point from lampard. We sometimes think it's an excuse to blame pitch but if it truly is a factor it bodes well for next year when pitches will all be good condition(ignoring fact we are up against quality players week in week out)

I actually expected Hull to be much easier to beat than Derby for some reason and was impressed by how solid and compact they looked today.

Players are not machines. A lot of football in a very short timeframe for Onyeka. No need to "call him out" . Yes he wasn't at his best but it really won't have any bearing in the general scheme of things .

Yea man.

Call him out, commenting on, making an observation - all the same connotations really.

My point was more around the fact, it wasn’t just me seeing it - I wasn’t an outlier.

Not really a bells and whistles performance but the old saying of “if you can’t win the game then don’t lose the game” was very apt.
We looked tired which is understandable but 4 points over Easter is a good return.
We were leggy weren’t we but the effort wasn’t lacking and we kept a clean sheet which is always good away from home. Plenty of rest before Saturday now

Onyeka was fine for an hour, he was pretty good at times. Our issues tonight were with two clumsy strikers again. Haji looked half arsed at times.
I thought from 25 mins in this would be a stalemate and quite frankly I think the aim was not to lose so it’s another step in the direction of the title.

Frank says he’s satisfied with a point playing on that pitch 😂

Pitch made it difficult for our technical players.

Was 1st class to get a clean sheet.

That wasn’t a debatable penalty.

Boys need some rest.

Need to respect SW and do our job.
SW?

I have zero respect for that man.

But that is the part people gave you "pelters" for.

Maybe people jumped the gun or didn’t want to hear anything negative about him. Dunno.

Same as the Derby game when I called out a tired JDS, Kitching and Esse means we’ll likely be weaker down our left - and we were. Got some kickback on the initial comment then too.

I have no agenda, just sharing observations like the rest of us. On an internet forum.

Anyone noticed Lampard putting his hand over his mouth when talking to staff and players in games on sky. Clearly making sure no one can lip read what hes saying. He did it during the Derby game talking to his staff on the bench and again tonight after the game he was having quit a long conversation with Wright and shielded his mouth
