It did look better once Allen came on for Godden, we got the extra possession there if not the final third quality to make use of it.

That was a poor game. We looked rampant for the first 20 and could have run away with it if we carried on like that.

The rest of the game was poor though. We won’t take many 3 points playing the way we did for the majority of the game.

Is indeed and was nice to see the extra man arrive in midfield when required. Gyo has not been on it of late which is having an impact

Great 3 points that. Robins absolutely spot on bringing Allen on and packing the midfield.

Sheaf played well, but wtf is he doing giving the free kick away at the end?? Someone needs to have a word with him.

Hamer had a touch of class about him as usual, Godden got one from open play + ohare was a constant thorn in their side.

I thought he was very good, it’s ridiculous how quick people are to criticise him compared to other players.

The second half defensive mentality was perhaps the change robins has been proposing for weeks away from home - I thought we invited too much pressure - but I was clearly wrong because this game had shades of preston away and in that one we continued to attack and lost the 3 pts - robins got it right today (even though he is off to norwich )

Maatsen best game for us I thought. Gyokeres not fit or levels he set early on were unsustainable

Not really much to say about that game, they were no threat, we scored & then played the game out without looking like getting another.

Yeah I think he'd top everyone's list in the championship pretty much too. Robins is going nowhere until we've won the champions league anyway so it's irrelevant.
