How much for Calum Wilson? (1 Viewer)

Maybe the price would be higher if we had crowds of more than 3000? Just saying

If his goals get us promotion he's worth £5m. Realistically £1.5 or above is a good price. He's more proven than Bigi was.

Nothing as usual. But Fisher or Labo would have come out with a line like couldn't hold his career back or the undisclosed offer was too much to turn down. Might even blame the fans for not turning up.

She might very well blame the fans. You cannot support the boycott AND wonder why incoming funds are not reinvested on the pitch, to do both is simply idiotic!

completely agree, but there would be no boycott if we were at the ricoh.

1.5 million same as Nakhi Wells would be top price imo. 1.0m minimum we should let him go for though.

Any higher figures quoted are simply cloud cuckoo land!

SISU will have no choice but to sell, as they need to get the players wages to £1.5m pa, currently around £2.2m, but with limited income a fee of £1.5m for Callum will give the a fighting chance of surviving for six months, before they collapse and liquidate. The FL will need to be mindful of the risks associated with Coventry City, ironically playing at the Ricoh on a deal compatible with Sixfields would provide a little more hope, but will never happen.

I reckon £500k tops. Us city fans have a tendency to overhype players.

Remember the baker can be better than hutch quote from a couple of years ago?

You're joking right

If Wells is worth 1-1.5 million than Wilson is easily worth twice that

Lets just be grateful you're not our negotiator

Never said it wasn't true. But are the crowds so low because of a boycott? Certainly not.

You can't blame all the fans for not turning up. We are not all fit and able to do the journey easily. We don't all have access to a motor vehicle. We can't all afford the extra for travel. We can't all give the extra time to go to games that going to Northampton needs. From what I have heard and read on here it is not so enjoyable in Northampton. Not all of us can go on a Sunday.

There will be more reasons why some can't go. You can blame me as I won't go whilst in Northampton. Many others are the same. But to blame all of us that don't go is a fair bit off the mark. SISU have to take some responsibility at least. And it was them that took us there. It is also SISU that could sort this fiasco out. Not us fans. We are the innocent party in all of this.

I agree with what your saying this is why we need new owners to break the cycle.
Sisu can not get us back to the Ricoh and they don't have a plan to return ccfc to Coventry.

You don't have a case, if you think Wilson is worth only 500k then you're an idiot.

Let it be noted that what I think his value is and what price I think we would get if we sold him are two different things

Ok i'm an idiot because I have a different opinion to yours.

Blimey there's some know it all's on here.

what we value him as fans isn't the issue, the issue is what offer sisu will accept. going by clarks transfer i would say any offer over £1M and he could be out the door, at the very least i would expect negotiations to start.

Stop arguing. His value is known for sure. It is undisclosed.

just been talking to a lad who works in the unit next to ours, he's a wolves season ticket holder and he recons there has been reports in the express & star (local wolverhampton news paper) that a deal is being lined up for wilson to move at the end of the season. could be paper talk, could be he's winding me up.
