We have'nt lost 2 games in a row in 10 months in the league , since March 7th only a short while after SP left .
we are only losing 1 in 4 games under mogga overall , this season its 1 in 6 , we are consistent and can only see us getting stronger with new recruits.
We are already 18 points better off than after 25 games last season .
So what has changed , why is tony mowbray doing so much better than past managers (adams , coleman , thorn , pressley , boothroyd etc ) with virtually the same financial restraints put on him .
is he the best manager we have had since the top flight days , would mogga have won us promotion to the prem with colemans teams .
its remarkable what he is achieving at ccfc at the moment .
It was interesting reading what he said about Venus. He leaves money and business to Venus, while Mowbray is on the pitch wearing his boots doing training. Then Venus gives him lists to choose from.
With the things that are happening, it is very hard to think the budget is the same as when we were signing Malaga and Manset isn't it?
Very much the best manager in recent years but I'm beginning to think that the owners must be allowing him more funds this term.
I would like to know what salary those two players commanded Nick! i bet they were on 5K +With the things that are happening, it is very hard to think the budget is the same as when we were signing Malaga and Manset isn't it?

So what do you think made them have such a huge shift in strategy then RFC?Obviously SISU ( and those running & steering the club ) got something right!
Some might say finally but it's turned out to be a superb appointment, long may it continue! PUSB
I personally think the difference is getting rid of Waggott .. where as Pressley had his pick of what Waggot offered him Mowbray and Venus are very much there own men and have insisted on choosing there own players ..also like Mowbray has stated before having no Coventry insignia at the training ground, fixing the car park , painting the coaches .. all in all a more professional approach and I think sisu have seen the difference it makes to the team

To be fair, although TM has been consistently better in the transfer market, the others did bring in some good players.

You know that's not the point I was trying to make Astute...we all know that they brought in a lot of dross but between them, they also brought in Fleck, McGoldrick, Clarke, RCC, Bailey, Johnson, Marshall and McGuire. All successful signings.

Over how many seasons?
And how many were really a success?
