Just a thought...

As most of our fans are not going to Sixfields, shouldn't we appeal to the visiting fans NOT to attend as well???

If we could get them to boycott and show there support for our plight, that sub 1000 gate might really stir up some media attention...

Just my 2penuth worth........

Wouldn't work. You couldn't expect away fans to not watch their team while 1000 coventry fans choose to watch theirs.

No I wouldn't expect away fans to boycott. Getting them to sign the e-petition would be a better use of energy.

Good idea in principal, but as pointed out previously, why would they boycott if there are still hundreds of Cov fans attending?

Or when several thousand Coventry fans descend on the home of franchise football or when several thousand are more than happy to give a greedy hedge fund their cash if a day trip to London is on the table.

Wait. So your position now is that going to Sixfields is now OK, but going to MK or Arsenal is wrong?

Just trying to keep track.

You lot should be GRATEFUL to SISU for continuing to fund the club at all next year - they are probably planning for sub 1500 attendances at Sixfields and all you can do is rub your hands gleefully about this. I dont know many "greedy hedgefunds" that fund such unsustainable losses year after year . What CCC/ACL is doing is a disgrace now and will be exposed in the JR.
We are lucky to still have a club and when all you lot come trickling back whenever we are back in Cov you should be holding the sixfields 1500 in honour for making the sacrifice to keep the club alive when YOU did nothing.

When was going to sixfields ever "wrong"? The moral highground on this forum is astounding at times

You're quick enough to slag off people who boycott Sixfields, and moan that we're not doing enough to bring CCFC back to Coventry, Yet go on the offensive when I point out that your "Big Protest when the pitch dries out" has never happened. Yes! you're right when you say it has fuck all to do with me what you do.....So why the fuck did you say it in the first place See Ya!

i must appologise. i didn't realise that they are funding by charitable donation. i was always under the impression that they were funding the short fall caused by their idiotic move to sixfields in the way of loans and then charging huge sums of interest that are more than any rent we paid at the Ricoh. Thanks for clearing that up.

ask grendull, he wrote a book on why it was wrong before deciding it wasn't.

A lie. I never said it was wrong at all. I realised the futility of it when 7,000 people abandoned their principals and chucked money at a greedy hedge fund just to see their team play at a big ground.

Tony, this 'constant racial abuse' over on GMK, who is the victim? I've looked at the first 5 pages over there but can't find any evidence. Let me know and I'll pm knowl to get it sorted. Cheers.

so you're saying it is a charitable donation? ARVO or any Sisu investor are not looking to get their money back?

do you have a link to this?

of course they are - cant see that happening anytime soon though -SISU have two choices pre JR, continue to fund and play at sixfields OR wind the club up. I for one am glad they are at least taking the former option.

I see now. It’s all been benevolence from philanthropical owners, just like the charitable £2m donation to AEHC for something that’s worthless.

The funding will be in the form of yet more loans, which will need repaying with interest. You need to get your head out of the sand.

Or are you saying that the silent majority still go to Northampton?

At least you got the silent bit right if that is the case.
