Fair enough he does still get himself about but don't remember Rep's talking about Biden's work rate when he was the same age. Just he was past it and a doddery old fool. Only reason we can't claim the same of Trump is because he's always talked such absolute nonsense no-one can tell if he's suffering mental decline or not.

This 'high IQ' president doesn't know what tariffs are despite imposing them on most of the world, regularly confuses asylum seekers with lunatic asylums, claimed that Biden had 'stage 9' cancer, was the best friend of the world's top sex trafficker, claimed that Ukraine started the war with Russia, and at the Scottish press conference where he 'bossed it', claimed that Hamas is eating all of the food being sent to Gaza and that they 'want to die really'. Earlier this year he launched a crypto scam on his own supporters to make huge sums of money for himself, last year he declared that it was a president's 'right' to interfere with presidential elections.

Will not derail this thread, but a whole book could be written on how stupid, corrupt and fraudulent this man is. What's above just scratches the surface.

Saw a tweet with two clips of Trump talking about trans women, one from a few years ago where he said there was no issue with them whatsoever and the second a more recent clip where had made them out to be the greatest evil on the planet.

Even if you ignored what he was actually saying the difference in the way he spoke was stark. The earlier clip he was very articulate, in the second he was rambling and slurred.

Particularly at 79. Teetotal, family man & Ran the show when he was in Aberdeen recently. Dominated press conferences. Well on top of his brief. Starmer meanwhile was virtually mute as his ideology was verbally decimated piece by piece.

I suggest you listen to Trump's verbal 'decimations' properly. It's incoherent word salad. Like Grandpa Simpson but without the humour.

He doesn't dominate via intelligence or wit, he just shouts down, rants, and goes off on weird unrelated tangents. If anything the more he goes on, the more deranged he sounds, to the point where there have to be serious concerns about his cognitive decline (see links below).

As for hard work; if sitting on the bog or in front of the telly for hours, whilst posting nonsense on the internet, counted as work, everyone here (myself included) would be millionaires.

Left entirely to his own devices I could definitely see Trump using one because he's stupid and would just like the feeling of power from it.
