people keep saying this.. Yet acl .. Dont do anything about what he says.. They dont do him for slander.. And they dont take up the radio station or the telegraphs offer to tell their side, or appear on the radio station along with mr fisher
though mr fisher is happy to come on the radio every other week , and "apparntley" tell lies about acl according to some people... A logical man would surely sumise its acl who maybe have something to hide here
in fact the only party here that has legal issuing s against them .. Is acl, and its sisu issuing those proceedings!!!

You seriously backing fisher up after that?? Some fans we have - bloody hell
luwalla some fans are to brainwashed to see it from both sides mate, to them only sisu are to blame and council are whiter than white.
Can't ACL do this bloke for slander, he is telling out and out lies.
dont have to be equal, just admission that both sides are to blame
Well, ACL have been very quiet as he keeps telling the same "lie". I'd like ACL to come out and tell us it is a lie. They seem reluctant to do that.
ACL don't want to deal with SISU. Would you want to?
so what the club ( fisher ) are saying is true then , you agree..
i think you are right.. but like it or not, SISU are coventry city football club...
Both sides are to blame and i would call it a 70% Sisu 30% acl ccc.
Maybe they are saving it for the court hearing ?
Maybe they are saving it for the court hearing ?
It's too late for that. Something has to be done now.
None of this namby pamby crap from ACL and Lucas, they need to do something about it because now it is up to THEM. Fisher made it perfectly plain this morning that it's done and dusted as far as he is concerned so the ball is squarely in the CCC/ACL court.
The bit that got me was the last little sentence dropped in right at the end..never before mentioned..
'With an option for two further years'
5 years to build a stadium then!!
hahaha WHAT part of that is backing up fisher.. im simply stating the facts.. because it seems some people are so blinded by the hatred for fisher.. that they think ACL smell of roses here.. despite the fact ACL dont do anything about these 'supposed' lies he keeps telling.. and they wont come onto radio and answer questions..
they dont smell of roses, their behaviour sticks of SH+T!!! they are AS MUCH if not MORE to blame for this joke of a situation..
let me make this clear, for all that seem to have trouble seeing the situation for what it is... .. i despise SISU for what they have done in the past.. and i dislike Fisher for the way he has gone about this.. I wont be following the club to northampton, and that is to the detriment of me & my family...
but be clear, this IS down to ACL .. they are almost more to blame. THAT IS ALL
What they are saying probably is true yes. That is what I was saying.
And I back the Council to the hilt on it. As I've said before, this issue transcends football. They have a responsibility to protect the Ricoh Arena as a community asset.
90% Sisu 10% other partiesand id say 60% sisu 40% council
Where's the academy going Tim? Why can't you move the contracts back into Ltd and negotiate at the Ricoh Tim?
He says that breaking the suicide pact with Northampton would be expensive. It's expensive to pay a bond with the League, it's expensive to put on free transport to Northampton every week, it's expensive to build a football stadium and buy the land, it's costly to limit your crowds to 7,000 versus 32,500 and it's expensive hiring an administrator to hand you back an empty company.

So what does that say?
You could argue that SISU is continuing to put their money where their mouth is, the only problem people have is working out what their end game is. It's widely assumed that SISU want to sell because of the losses so far, and that's clearly the way that many people would act in SISU's place - after all, why keep throwing good money after bad?
BUT - that's clearly not the way that SISU are thinking, their actions tell you that. To me it looks like they see an end game of having a reasonably successful team in its own stadium as having a potential price tag that will be worth selling, and protecting their investors' investments. They realise that it is a longer term operation and that's why they are funding whatever they think it might take, and having to live with a load of shite from the fans - after all, a successful team will start pulling in the fans again. Even if the die-hards keep their pledges never to support them again there will be others to take their places. (Forget the £70M debt - as has been said on here before that's only a figure to fend off any hostile takeover bids, it's not real money).
And yet for all of this cost, we have a top class facility there and ready to use. If we have the cash to kill a football club for 5 years we have the cash to acquire a considerable interest in the ground that's already there. Why didn't we go down that option rather than trying to bust ACL out?
The debt of the group in the 2011 accounts lay at around £35m. It is safe to say that the figure will be much larger now and will be enormous once the ground is built.
So what does that say?

I agree. Use the money we are going to give NTFC to ACL. The problem is ACL won't negotiate with SISU. The phrase Mutton used was "hell will freeze over before we talk to SISU". Then you get fans writing to ACL telling them not to sell. Then you get fans on here saying they hope ACL take them to the cleaners, etc.
If the City Council and ACL had truly wanted to support the Club, it would have taken up the offer made by SISU to pay off its debt and extend the lease. Instead it used £14 million of public money to stop the deal happening.
As far as Fisher is concerned there is nothing left to say. It is now up to Lucas and ACL. Whether you or I agree with that is irrelevant, only they can stop our Club from going to Northampton.
