I think the day a Coventry City forum consists of threads predominantly about football will be the day nobody is complaining. Off-field issues have dominated this club for so long it's difficult for discussion to stay on the football.

Yup, and tbf it's hard to find inventive ways to say we're shit, and Fleck is not the second coming.

Yes, but several people have explained why. It is not compulsory and not everyone gets to Matches for various reasons e.g. where they live and their working hours. It is a "Sky Blues Forum" and people discuss matters which effect the Sky Blues - some analyse the players, the game, the tactics etc. and others discuss the off field matters, which in turn have an effect on the team/ club. So Nick is correct. But he shouldn't be surprised, or maybe he should call the Forum "Sky Blues Match Forum" if he just wants people to talk about the game and nothing else.

Maybe not, but when some posters seem more interested in the fortunes of a rugby team franchised from London on a Sky Blues Forum they have every reason to question the motives behind that.

The only ones more interested, are the few new posters - probably Rugby fans - who appeared at the time of the move. Lots of City fans are interested in the fortunes of Wasps. Some want them to fail because they are a "franchise" , others because they hope that a failure will mean we get a second chance with the Ricoh and others hope that they do well and prove that the Ricoh and City of Coventry are worth investing in - and maybe one day both Rugby and CCFC are somehow together. Pretty good motives on the most part.

But why use this against posters that have never said such a thing. That would be like having a go at you for what RFC has said in the past. It is all bollox.

Once. To prove a point. There is room for a professional sports team in Coventry - if done properly. Tony Mowbray wants professional structures put in place to get CCFC in a position to move up a league. Let's hope he gets his way. Perhaps we too can get the crowds back. In no way does saying "look it is possible to get good crowds in Coventry" make me a Wasps fan - except, perhaps, in your weird and wonderful fantasy world. As Astute says, you are talking bollox again....

Astute says I have made numerous pro sisu posts. I have challenged him on numerous occasions to find one. He has failed.

I really don't think an expose of your posting history will reveal only one post on a wasps thread extolling their virtues -- do you?

There is no need to. Everyone can see for themselves. You insult anyone who works for the council. You lap up everything Reid says and add to it. When was the last time you said anything against SISU whilst doing your non stop attacks against anyone who has disagreed with SISU? How about you going on about the white elephant or smoking gun? You are nowhere near impartial.

So would you like to show us where I have said it is a good thing to have Wasps in Coventry? Would you like to show us where I have said I am happy for them to be in Coventry? What I have said is that I understand why CCC sold the arena to them although I disagree with it fully. But BS Grendel makes out the total opposite. What a shock Just like you kept telling us what you do for a living and that you earn a 6 figure sum. You told us that you were looking for a secretary on 50k a year but wouldn't give details on here when asked ointlaugh: But you knew nothing of Wasps and Jag getting together when what you had been telling us would have let you be in a position to know. You are a WUM. Nothing more nothing less.

You will find no posts saying I am a Wasps fan and have been to a Wasps game. Their "virtues" are that they came out of nowhere, made a deal with the council and got a long term lease for the Ricoh in a matter of months. Fair play to them. The point is why didn't or couldn't we? They engaged with schools, gave away tickets, promoted in the City, bettered the beer choice at the Ricoh ( apparently - I don't know if that is true ) etc. and now they get better crowds than us. You could slag me off for pointing these facts out ( and you do ), but I am not the problem and nor are Wasps. The problem, which you love to deflect from, is the owners - who preferred the course of trying to batter people in court and lost by doing it. I am glad that Mowbray has appraised the footballing situation in such a short time, and told SW what has to be done to put CCFC on a professional footing regarding recruitment. I hope they accept his terms. A waft of fresh air on the football side. A pity that there is no experienced professional appraising the business options - including the value of fighting a war against the council of the city where your team plays or of investing in a stadium somewhere nearby, which will have to generate enough money to support the team and to reward the investors who are not in it for the love of CCFC.

That I have ever made one post defending sisu. I stared s thread a couple of weeks ago stating that the owners CEO needs the bullet.

The last bit exposes your ignorance on how multi national companies work as well. The same as when you once said as I controlled budgets I clearly talked crap as there is only one budget. Frankly at that point I gave up.

Actually it is worse than that Jim, he makes up a name, alluding to an idea I work for the council. I don't I work for a PLC located in Coventry. I don't believe I've ever praised them, as far as I remember all I've said is that they had little option but to sell the Arena and they have no obligation to the Football club to support them. If you don't like that POV then tough.

Also I think he tries to infer I work in Public Relations, I do not, I have a technical job.

Maybe he want to imply I am a member of a Political Party and associated with Ann Lucas, I'm not. I don't even vote Labour, they will screw up the country if they ever get in again.

I do want SISU out, they've screwed up everything at CCFC, made the club a laughing stock and brought it to a 50 year low.

Grendel may not have technically told many lies, but it is my opinion many of his posts are designed to mislead, deflect the discussion away from the misrule of the clubs owners and thus protect SISU with smoke and mirrors.

Well done. It took you how many years to say they need the bullet

So what did you say you do for a living? And how high up?

I work for a worldwide company. I know how they work. And if I was in the position you told us you are I would have known what was going on.

I'd also be very worried about why a member of senior management was spending so much time on a football forum instead of working!

Your entire focus is on here a lot of the time.

So have you changed jobs to what you told us previously? Don't you take note of what is happening in your own area? I can tell you most of what is happening in the UK and I don't pretend to know because of what my job is. I have never tried to get a secretary on 50k a year. Maybe that is where I went right.

Can't find anything online about it and can't see a way to see previous back covers.

I would say it is a little bit hidden away though compared to the original.
