Far more than that actually. He may be able to utilise some of his fathers company services but the two are separate organisations.

If they are to buy say half the stadium they would finance against that in addition to what he invests personally. That is how most US sports are financed.

If he's American though, surely all his money is dollars? You can't spend that here. Pass.

I hope anybody who objected to SISU's role as a hedge fund is alarmed by Haskell's hotspots for business investment: Russia, South Africa, The Congo ...

He offered to invest 10m in players for Leeds who were a cheaper purchase than we will be so I would not start thinking were Man City

I dont care if it's him, SISU or anyone else, we need the football club, the ground and the revenue streams all under one roof. Even if the club fails or we dont manage to get back where we believe that we should be, then the club will always have a greater value for other potential purchasers in the future.

Surely that gives him experience working in regions that can be unfathomable, unwelcoming, hostile and occasionally socially bereft?

The Ricoh is close to Bedworth, after all......;)

I must admit I read the article and thought it sounded lovely! An owner who invests in property is perfect for selling the Ricoh and the land around to as he has experiance in devloping land. A Leeds Utd fans forum think he'd be great for us, apparently offering £10m to them on players - wouldn't need to offer half that for a decent League 1 Squad - ours is pushing for playoffs still with our most expensive player being Adam Barton at £125k?

Sounds too good to be true =/

Heh, I was going to say that Coventry was the next logical step. Still, it's a big red flag for me. I'd like to know more about the timing of some of his moves into these territories.

Total and utter guess at figures, but you will get the idea

Buy ACL 30 million then own rights to food and drink apart from Compass's little bit.

Take up option to buy out Higgs 10 million.

Negotiate with Council to pay loan repayments only.

Buy CCFC 1 pound.

Cover players and staff wages 3.5 million.

Develop the land 30 million.

Get promotion next season or this one.

Ricoh gets railway station and becomes even more popular.

Cost of investment 75 million

Value within a year 100 million.

Cost to see SISU gone priceless

Why is nationality an issue?

It helps with guessing who potential investors are and where they are from. Ill Wang Ping is probably not from Texas, for example. He doesn't have a Roman numeral in his name :p

If it's a false dawn, can I just stay in bed and not go to work?
