We’ve got a nice pot of money to replace Hamer now. It’s a cause for excitement that we can go out and sign a few more players on permanent deals.

I think we all expected them back sooner rather than later but according to the BBC Hamer's lot are away at Hull today.

Incidentally, a couple of others are adamant (supported by JD) that Hamer would have, and wanted to sign a new contract a couple of weeks back for 25k p/w but the club dithered on it.
I know one of the lads who JD claims "couldn't be closer to the situation" and he is a decent lad who I can't see attention seeking/making stuff up.
