£3.5m or so I’d say, and the same again on a striker personally. I’d also want Fadz’s replacement in as well and we’ll need to spend there.
I just want him gone now if he's not going to sign. Absolutely no point in dragging it, it just fucks us about. Little bit annoyed we're still at this point with a week to go.

If he goes to a Burnley or Fulham and we continue to develop he may regret it longer term. From his perspective it's potentially a gamble staying another year though.
All about money ain’t it - we’ve offered him something, someone else has clearly said “we’ll give you x amount”, which trumps us, and he’ll think well that’s what I’m worth.

If his mind is OK and Doug is happy to eat the cost I’d keep him TBH. I don’t think you’ll find close for the money. And the difference he’ll make beyond the Vik cash isn’t huge. But those are big ifs.

I would imagine and hope the club have a list of potential replacements lined up. I just fear the fact this has gone on so long, those players have gone to other clubs.

If he stays then we can make a go of it this season. If he leaves then it’s too late to reinvest that kind of money and re-rebuild the squad in time for this season. But another big cash injection (£10 million?) could be huge for us - enough for three or four difference makers in the squad for sure.
Some serial bedwetters in here. If Hamer moves on, we’ll replace him with someone who in time will be better. He’s not irreplaceable and we can’t rely on one player to drag us to the prem. Robins will spend the money wisely and we’ll move on and improve.

If his motivation isn’t that and wants to move to another English club then he needs to move now and be fair and honest as he can be. Hamers been excellent for city but it’s also can be said this club has also looked after hamer as well.
