In this case I can’t blame a very decent young bloke in keeping his financial options open - I’m a massive and long term fan of this club but even if I had played for the sky blues I would have taken the right financial option for my family in his situation. We all would in that situation if we’re honest. I loved Gus as a player and a person - still love the guy and hope he does brilliantly in his career.
We will need to disagree in that case and I think even MR in the end was pissed off with what was going on. I know one of the lads who JD claims "couldn't be closer to the situation" and he is a decent lad who I can't see attention seeking/making stuff up.
