Use £3M of Viks fee for an 2 year extension and stick it in front of him and see how quickly he signs. Gentleman’s agreement if we are nowhere near playoffs / promotion at end of season he can go for a fee like we obviously did with Vik.

More a, unless we get what we want, we'll take the decision out of his hands and he'll stay for the season. If he gets a strop on, I'm more than happy to see him in the bomb squad training down the memorial park. I love Hamer, he's been fantastic to watch and a great asset, but no one is bigger than the club.

If we end up losing him for nothing next summer, we’ll still need to sell someone else again to replace him and add to the squad elsewhere.Sell him and we've got to spend a very significant amount to replace anyway so you might as well roll the dice imo.
