Think he had covid but you are correct without him in the middle of the park we are toothless.

There were plenty on here slating him a few weeks back.

Our best player by mile, how anyone can argue without him in the team we are better is almost laughable.

Defensively Sheaf was brilliant but him and Kelly were like mannequins when we were looking to attack

Think Kelly is now the weak link and hamer needs to get fit and slot in alongside sheaf.

In the last 10 games Hamer has started we’ve managed 10 points which suggests results won’t improve when he plays either

Interesting if so...even if it's only to put a buyout clause in, to satisfy Hamer

Yes I understand they are having talks , he approached the club to see what is possible . Fadz is another one but his is based on certain targets being hit so should be straight forward

Good job O'Hares wasn't based on targets being hit!

imagine if biamou had A contract like that. He’d have to settle the Arvro account all by himself

Because we haven’t got a budget for a squad full of Championship quality players?

It's common sense to secure 3 of the outstanding players of the season so far
Especially as we're in January

Good news if true. Gives us a bit more power to pick the best moment to cash in and he clearly isn't in too much of a hurry to leave.

Yes, it wasn't a criticism, the opposite. Although some have shown disappointment about the likelyhood of signing anyone, it makes sense to spend limited funds on securing our best players.

Biamou's conversion rate was better than O'Hare's.

and he ran around a lot too.

Difficult time to buy. Wouldn't be surprised if we brought in a loan player. Couple of hopes to fill, biggest being LWB. Would also bring in someone who can play AM too so O'Hare can have an occasional rest.

Think I read Swansea were interested in him. On a different note, how is it that Derby seem to be in for players. I would have thought creditors would be screaming from the hilltops about that. There must be some sort of rule preventing signings until their debts are sorted?

The frustration isn’t about using the limited funds in that way, it’s about why the funds are limited

Not many clubs who aren't in the position of having limited funds at the moment BSB
Not sure of the Financial Fair Play rules in the Championship currently but that may be a factor for many clubs because of the dip in income during the pandemic

Not many clubs with owners helping themselves to high interest loans deflating our funds further than would otherwise be the case.
