Indeed, 10% of full sale.

Youd imagine they would get around 20million for him, so another 2 million in the kitty for fuck all will be nice

Great news.
At least £20mil id say. If I’d known this I’d have clapped harder when he was taking that corner.

Indeed. Contrary to what Viks uncle claims, my source is still in regular contact with Vik, and he is adamant he goes this year. Arsenal, Liverpool, Barcelona and PSG have all shown serious interest

You don't have that calibre of side after you with the stats hes put in in the last 2 years and not leap at the chance

Gives us the best chance of getting the full sell on if a bidding war starts

6 million quid off the back of 2 players who left 2 years ago will be lovely

I’m not going over old ground - He ran his contract down and did an interview badmouthing Robins for dropping him at the back end of 2023/24 when he had zero intention of signing a contract - and before anyone tries to correct me, I’m not on about the AI generated slop that got posted on to twitter, it was a video interview he did with BBC Sheffield

Anyway, that left a bad taste in the mouth and it did for others - I have as much of a right to boo him as people do to applaud him, I thought he handled his departure appallingly and that is my opinion

He left for Premier League football and a year down the line he is still in the same division, at a club where he isn’t and will never will be as loved as he was here

He will be going, he’s at peak of power and earning now - it’s time.

we’ve just got to invest well now and hopefully be lucky with keeping hold of who we want to within squad.

Callum burned all his bridges here, a place where he was loved and idolised for a better shot at Premier League Football - Ended up losing in the play offs, the same as us and being benched for all three matches

The extra 5k or whatever it was a week on his payslip will soften the blow but purely football wise, he surely has to be feeling a little bit stupid now

He’s a seriously motivated individual and he wants to be the best and that means he wants to play for one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Welcome back Vik…

That being as it may, (and theres a different narrative but forget that for the time being), football supporters hate then love then hate again players again all the time.

The same would happen with him.

Sorry but who out of the 17 teams left in the prem are going to go down so Sunlan can stay up?
Man u, spurs and west ham currently occupy the bottom 3 and there's no way any of them are coming g down.
The pl is miles away from the championship and getting further each year.
Glad Sinlan went up , got no axe to grind with them and wish them all the best but there's no way any of the promoted teams stay up in my opinion

Ohare nowhere near good enough for a team looking to get tonthe PL he looked lost when he came on.

Hamers lifestyle has come back to bite him. He isn't fit enough and Wembley is a very tiring place to play. Can't be a coincidence that in 2 Wembley appearances he gets injured after aaround 70 mins. Would not have either back.

Sunderland were supremely fit. Totally destroyed us in extra time physically and totally beat down Sheff Utd.

They will stay up with that manager. Their Chairperson got it spot on and can see them becoming a force in the PL as they may well attract billionaire owners as its a huge club.

Dabo got dogs abuse for the penalty miss two years ago, arguably MVE having his brain fart cost us as much if not more.

Sunderland did not destroy us in extra time. Revisionism at its worst. Couple of inches lower and the cross to Haji would have won it for us.
Sunderlands name was on the playoff trophy. Some times luck really does play a part.

Course it’s a time we’ve had Sheff U fans patronising us all season about how much of a major step up it was for him to go there and they’ve ended up with the same as us… diddly squat

We'll never be good enough to be considered Premier league ready, I doubt many teams who go up are.

Just got to get there and see where it takes us.

I'd say Leeds and Burnley are ready for the Premier League, they're certainly no worse than West Ham, Wolves or Everton.

The chances of them surviving will largely depend on the quality they can bring in before the season starts, but if they can add 5 or 6 decent players then they've got a good chance.

Sunderland will need major investment to have any chance of staying up, and obviously they'll be favourites to come straight back down, Hamer ran them ragged at times today, and hes only average by PL standards.

But it will be interesting to see what they do with the money.

Last minute of extra time surely. Even so, they did not out play us in extra time. They just had to come out of their total defensive set up so looked a little better. Over the whole game we were the superior side, apart from the scoring bit. Sometimes that happens. Rudi was so unlucky with the bounce in the area. That's football. We were way better in the second leg but they got a crucial goal. Doesn't mean they were better than us.

Interesting take - Wilder sent O'Hare on up front (very odd decision)
Hamer - best player on the pitch (as per). Got an injury - the game changed after he went off.
Sunderland will get relegated (not sour grapes, just the odds are stacked against them)

For the money yeah and the novelty of playing Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal but that novelty will soon wear off when we're getting pumped every week
There'll be calls for lampards head when he loses 6 in a row
We'll by some miracle score a goal , go mad and then have the joy extinguished by that rotten var
I love the championship where we have the hope and expectancy of winning a few games, I love the intensity, I love there's no v poxy ar
Ofcors we have to go for it and promotion should be the aim I get that but I'm not disappointed we didn't make it

He's not good enough for us anymore. Touched the ball three times today. One a successful pass. One a overhead kick 17 seconds after the whistle had blown and one a pass straight out of play.

My reasoning for PSG is they’d definitely be able to afford him question marks over Barca’s finances, easy league that he can piss 30+ goals in, playing for a top team with a chance at champions league and potentially move on for more money again
