Well everyone is entitled to an opinion, no matter how ignorant

Do you think we'll now go on a losing run? If so, why?

The ignorant opinions were those writing off Wrexham or talking about us going invincible 😂.

I think we've got a difficult run coming. Sheffield United and Stoke away will not be easy.

Then they had us pinned back all second half and we didn't have a shot on target despite them having 10 men
That isn't actually true. For most of the second half they sat in and had the odd break. For the last 10 minutes we sat deep and they had a lot of pressure.

That doesn't invalidate your general point, though; we were opened up a lot in that first half and were dominated in midfield from the one we had disallowed to our third. Blackburn also caused us a lot of problems.

Both of those games could have been different, and the formation needed addressing. It has to be now.

We’ve got away with a lot very recently. Been lucky in both boxes, it can’t be denied. So to lose with a second string defence I’m really not shocked tonight. Get it sorted for Tuesday because I don’t want a polar opposite result trend setting in.

After a quarter of a season, you don't "get away" with the most goals of any team since the Championship rebrand. You don't "get away" with equalling the club successive win record. You don't "get away" with the most clean sheets in the division

We've been missing our best players in recent games.

So we're likely to improve again?

WTF then am I reading stuff such as "we'll go on a losing run now"?

You get away with teams not finishing chances they really should. xGA’s have been higher recently.

‘Got away with that’ has been said countless times on recent match threads, or are you gonna ignore that too?

What does "got away with" mean?

Please try and answer whilst recognising that Rushworth is as much a part of out starting 11 as Wright or Thomas-Asante

You have literally posted 15 posts in the last 25 minutes on several threads. You haven’t even tried to hide the fact that you have been waiting for us to lose so you could unleash your vitriol.

Look back at all other match threads this season where I have been more than complimentary you wanker

I never once said you hadn’t you absolute fucking weapon. Every thread I went on 30 mins after the final whistle you were on spouting hyperbole. Look at your own thread history from that time last night. It’s a fucking odd attitude as fan pal, in my opinion.

Nothing hyperbole about it

We've all seen this result coming due to how easy both Blackburn and Watford cut through. Yes we got the wins but even at the time people said we got away with it. To again play a 2 in the middle is insane from Lampard, especially against a good midfield 3 in Sheaf O'Brien and James. The common consensus on here and socials is agreement

Maybe you could say the thread regarding Kitching being suspended is hyperbolic il give you that, but the other i wouldnt say so

I think the frustration is rhat we got away with playing 2 in the middle v Blackburn and even 10 man Watford dominated us second half with an Allen and Grimes midfield

Why Frank insisted on setting up that way tonight is seemingly what's pissed people off

Its been coming for a few games now and the fact nothing was done to mitigate it is whats got my goat

No problem with the loss, Wrexham by far the better side
Yep, it’s a feeling that the last 3 games have been below par.

Rushworth has made a few good saves, but don’t the underlying numbers point to us actually just being quite good in both boxes?

I do understand / get that feeling myself (re; us being lucky in some games), but I think most of it is us having to get used to having a competent goalkeeper and quality forwards!

The meltdown on here tonight is ridiculous

Did you think we'd go the whole season without losing??

Grow up FFS

Everyone vents in different ways - some of it is silly yes I agree. I tend to just find the over reactions amusing, which is probably annoying for lots of people too. But everyone is annoying on here so that’s fine.

The saving grace in the past few games is that although we were 'weakened' by the players that came in we outscored the opposition, last night, on that showing, it showed us that our step up players are not quite at the level required and we got outscored... Bad day for us now on to the Sheffield mobsters and lets hope that if we have any 'step up' players playing they achieve better standards and we go on and clobber Sheffield with a much much improved performance.
Grimes had a lot of work today and needed someone helping him a little more than Allen possibly can/could so a return to business from Torp and our usual defence thats took us thus far and we again see what we are capable of
Hope bigfatrons had a good sleep and chilled now

How else do you set up the team?

To outline a couple of assumptions that Lati, Eccles and Torp probably not ready to play 90m. Assuming that’s right, we couldn’t play 3 ATB and Grimes-Allen in midfield. There’s also no Rudoni.

The squad is thin and it’s caught up with us. We can’t change games when it turns against us and it was the case against; Hull, Oxford and even Blackburn at 0-0.

On the Watford 2nd half, it wasn’t good but at 3-0 up v 10 men, it was apparent that we were just seeing out the game and barring the penalty, didn’t offer anything.
