I reckon the upfront fee is much closer to half of that

It isn’t worth our while crystallising a big loss on this in January. Minimum I’d accept is £5m.

A good get out for Robins as well 'couldnt settle, pining for Turkey'.
Rather than him dropping an absolute bollock.

Good luck with that. His value is rapidly heading to £1m, probably already is.

Then we may as well try and get him contributing.

There's obviously a player in there, who probably needs a sustained run to be able to achieve something. However: 1) He hasn't done anything to deserve a run out based on his recent contributions, and 2) He looks extremely off it mentally. If that is the case (which I think it is, and Robins has hinted at) we are unlikely to get the best out of him as it stands. As we are doing so shit at the moment I would just play him and see if something can spark into life organically.

Considering we are talking about the our highest ever transfer - it is a bit fucked.

Haji Wright voices again in Fenerbahçe!

Fenerbahçe, the leader of the Super League, has already started its preparations for the half-time transfer period. The yellow-dark blues put Haji Wright, who also played in Antalyaspor for a while, on his agenda again.

Continuing its path in the Super League and Conference League with firm steps, Fenerbahçe has already started to work for the transfers it will make in January. Fenerbahçe's primary goal during the halftime is to add a good striker to its squad.

NEW MOVE FOR WRIGHT

The yellow-dark blues decided to make a new move for Haji Wright, whom he is struggling with for his transfer in the summer transfer season.

IT WILL BE ACTED

As it is known, the US star striker transferred from Antalyaspor to Coventry City. It was learned that if the Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi of Fenerbahçe Management leaves the team during the halftime, he will take action to add Haji Wright to his squad.

MEETING WITH THE MANAGER

It was stated that Fenerbahçe recently held a meeting with the manager of the US striker and the transfer conditions were discussed.

IT HAS A CONTRACT UNTIL 2027

Haji Wright, who took part in 12 matches this season in Coventry City, one of the Championship League teams, produced 2 goals and 1 assist. The English team had to remove 9 million euros from the safe for Wright during the summer transfer season. The star player's contract with the club expires in 2027.

PLAYED 7 TIMES IN THE USA

Haji Wright wore the US National Team jersey 7 times. The successful football player managed to ventilate the nets 2 times in these matches.

Fenerbahçe'de yeniden Haji Wright sesleri!

Süper Lig'in lideri Fenerbahçe, devre arası transfer dönemi için hazırlıklarına şimdiden başladı. Sarı-lacivertliler, bir dönem Antalyaspor'da da forma giyen Haji Wright'ı tekrar gündemine aldı.

No chance it could be true, especially if he's got a Turkish missus and young child, no?

Snap their hands off and pretend this all never happened. Go and buy two prospects for £2-3M in Jan or loans until the summer. Spend the Gus fee on a couple of CMs. Then we just need to see if we can return Collins and Kitching and get some actually competitive CBs and GK.

If we get anywhere near €9 million euros, we need to count ourselves very lucky and try doing a bit more research on the next players to come in the building!

He's lived in America, Germany, Denmark and Turkey. I'm sure you're right a professional ihternational footballer couldn't take England after 3 months.

No wonder he's been so poor when he's been ventilating goal nets, they already have holes in.

Should concentrate more on scoring in them really.

Totally depends on the contract, sell on fees, add ons etc
It would be surprising if we don't lose a fair chunk on a quick sale.

It was readily accepted Hamer night be homesick, but seems more of a challenge to convince that Wright might be

In all seriousness, if it’s in his best interests, and ours, and if the interest is genuine, then a £1.7m loss in January is better than more (potentially) by the end of the season.

It is on current performances but as commented before Rangers had 7m bid rejected, palace, Fenebache and italian clubs also been sniffing in the past. Just not worked out so far…after all of ten games…playing in a new league…living in a new country
