Looks quick, strong and a good dribbler. Similar to Gyokeres on that front.

I think we should all trust Robins. If we really are going to spend this much then I'm pretty sure we would have done plenty of due diligence. Could be very exciting!

If this goes through, have we got a running total of what we've spent this window? Assuming this one if it comes off and Simms, isn't all up front.

Personally would have liked Van Hooijdonk for this sort of fee. Despite this still pleased we are splashing cash.

We will certainly have looked at him considering he was at Heerenveen with MVE, can only think he either doesn't fit what we're looking for or he's too far out of our price range.

Ticks a lot of boxes for us, but the price tag seems mad unless we’re actually a lot richer than we’ve been led to believe.

You do certainly have to question how we’re affording this at this point and whether this is us spending the Gus money before selling him. Seems like a massive outlay for us.

Don't forget how tall Fadz, Lati, Bidwell and Sheaf are as well. All above 6ft. And if the ball bypasses them, we always have Wilson's navel and thigh to fall back on

If this is true, I strongly suspect that we have a silent partner/s involved with financing the club.
Any ideas about who that might be?

As much as I'm enjoying us basically putting in a football manager cheat code, does anyone else feel like this is a high risk strategy? What if this crop of players do not settle well etc...

Well if it's £7m baseline fee then that'd take the spending to about £15m all in. Either way it would look that MR is being given the vast majority of the fee to work with.

As always. His "news" is from here, Twitter or regurgitated stories from elsewhere, he's probably less ITK than the average fan.

A classic example in 3 parts...
