Thanks for this. Wright stuff all sounds v odd. Either itching for a move away or genuinely injured and they’re keeping cards close to chest to buy a striker for cheap in transfer market

I can't see how going to the World Cup would have helped. Would surely have been better for him to have had some rest and downtime before starting pre-season fresh than presumably just 3 weeks mandated post World Cup end and having been in full training in heat with the USA squad every day. Not as though he had game time to enhance his re-sale value either, I suspect this might have a big knock on impact on the recruitment plans as almost certainly means we won't look to ship out any of the 3 strikers and will be using up either the revenue or capital budget to bring someone in.
