For all the flapping around, he’s someone I have few doubts would be able to make the step up to the top flight. But he really has to learn how to time his runs!
Long may it continue! Both have hit great form. Our charity bet has seemingly coincided with a goal glut from the pair! I'm all here for it!
He’ll come off the bench but he’ll start as soon as he’s ableLong may it continue! Both have hit great form.
It will be interesting to see what Frank does once Rudoni is fit to start, will one of the wide players miss out? Or will Rudoni have to sit on the bench and wait for a player to pick up an injury?
Not right away, my personal view is that at some point, BTA will drop out. As things stand, he’s 100% played himself into the starting 11. It’s a shootout between him and Haji atm.Long may it continue! Both have hit great form.

I agree that hes our best player, however there's no arguing that our results have been outstanding since he's been out, and BTA is undropable at the moment, so I'd be suprised if he walks straight back in, and certainly not in place of BTA.He’ll come off the bench but he’ll start as soon as he’s able
He’s the best player in the squad
I was taking the pissYou'd prefer a player with quite obvious ankle issues? Interesting take.
Well, there is a reason Vic is in the Premier League and Haji isn’tJust saw a stat which shocked me greatly :
Haji Wright has scored 40 goals in 97 games for us.
Viktor Gyokeres scored 40 goals in 97 games for us.
One is languid and considered 'lazy' by some, and one is considered as probably the best player in recent history.
Couldn't think of 2 players with such differing styles.

Goals aren’t really false stats though are they ffsWell, there is a reason Vic is in the Premier League and Haji isn’t
Vic single-handedly dragged us on the cusp of the Premier League with his work rate desire and effort.
Haji single-handedly lost us the playoff semifinals because he was too lazy.
That’s the difference you can stick your stats up your arse
I have good news regarding next season then.I think maybe so. I reckon he'd do a job lower end premier league though.

I do think Vik would score 50 a season in this side.
Genuinely think It would easily break Mitrovic record in this squad at a canterI do think Vik would score 50 a season in this side.
Differences being, Vik played his entire city career in a very defensive, cagey, counter attacking Robins team. Wright has played half his city career in the most attack minded, high press, shots a plenty city team in our lifetimes.Just saw a stat which shocked me greatly :

Vik Gyokeres is one of the best strikers in world football. Haji, with respect, is playing for a Championship team in his prime years.Differences being, Vik played his entire city career in a very defensive, cagey, counter attacking Robins team. Vik regularly ran through brick walls and played through injury aswell. Wright is injured after being breathed on.

You could argue Vik spent a lot of his time on the left wing. Thats probably where he was best, running the channels and drifting inside. Which is why I think Robins stuck with Haji there like he did. I think he was trying to replicate what we had with Vik. So saying Vik scored more because he played as a striker isnt necessarily correct.Vik Gyokeres is one of the best strikers in world football. Haji has also played a decent chunk at LW and I’ve pointed out many times he’s always scored more playing ST (shock).
Haji is a brilliant striker us and just because he’s not as good as Vik doesn’t take anything away from him.

Very lowWhat are the chances that the tale of him being injured for Saturday was just smoke and mirrors and he is fit to play tonight?
Even if he is, I don’t think recent performances warrant selection, though I expect he will play a big part in the rest of the season. What are the chances that the tale of him being injured for Saturday was just smoke and mirrors and he is fit to play tonight?
Haji Wright is in much better team get alot more chances. We dont rely on him single handedly.Haji Wright is every bit as good as Gyokeres because the statistics tell us that is the case. Haji Wright will be more important than Gyokeres in the history of this club if he fires us to promotion.
Is Wright a better player than Vik? In my opinion Gyokeres is the best player we have had since 2001 and has advanced his career path as most suspected he would. We are better for having both of them.
The black player lazy trope is distasteful and patently untrue. Subconscious racism.Well, there is a reason Vic is in the Premier League and Haji isn’t

His obvious racism isn’t even discreet at this pointThe black player lazy trope is distasteful and patently untrue. Subconscious racism.
No player that makes it to the top in elite football is lazy or gets picked in our team.
Why does Lampard consistently pick Haji? Simple, because he is a very good footballer and goalscorer, as evidenced by his goals scored. He contributes with movement to create space for other players and defensive assistance at set plays.
Haji has been an integral part of the team that is top of the league.
Every player, especially strikers go through slack periods.
Cherry picking the odd poor performance only supports the wealth of evidence that you are choosing unrepresentative events to support a spurious argument.
