No, he won’t sign a new contract. That’s why he needs to be sold and before his price drops any furtherIf Vik stays he will I think sign an extension to his contract it would cost him a lot of money per week not to, could put a caveat in should a club a certain figure.
As for serious injury risk, why give out any contracts on that risk, it’s a bit of an occupational hazard unfortunately.
