He was a teacher at a school I used to teach at, started just before I left so never got to know him but was pretty popular from what I gather.

Your friend is Wikipedia.

Khan is the youngest of three children, with two sisters who are ten and eleven years older than him.[2] His father died when Khan was three.[3] He is of Pakistani Punjabi Muslim descent. Khan grew up on a housing estate in Hillfields, Coventry,[4] and attended Stoke Park School. He graduated from Coventry University,[5] and went on to teach Humanities at Grace Academy.[6] In Sindhu Vee's 2020 BBC comedy podcast Things My Mother Never Told Me (... About Lockdown), Khan talks about being raised in a South Asian community and his relationship to his mother.[2]

Said he still lives next door to his mother (presumably in Cov) and that he once locked a fellow teacher in a cupboard, as he had snitched on him to the School Leadership team about not marking kids homework. JR asked him if he had marked the homework. Guz said no, but that's besides the point - you don't snitch!

Definitely associates himself with Cov a lot. His Twitter bio reads…”from Coventry mate”.

I was just curious about who he was and never heard of him - his bio says born and raised in Birmingham but went to Cov Uni and taught here straight after leaving

He was born in Brum but grew up in Hillfields, lived near his mum in Hillfields and went to Stoke Park

Keep up Alan

“we lived in a rough area of Birmingham but mum made sure we went to a decent school”

“I met David and Daniel Farke there”

I saw one of Guz Khan's half hour sit com things on BBC 1. I think it was supposed to be set in Birmingham.

He went to Stoke Park as we have already established and your link says he is from Coventry Alan. You really should crack on with that learning to read thing.

We haven’t established anything David as I merely quoted what he said about growing up in Birmingham

was he a school chum of yours? In which case I guess he comes from London?

Anyway to end this shall we let the man himself tell us where he is from and not 1 line in an article

You need to take it up with the man himself

So you were wrong - Beautiful Sunday so far

Well he says a lot of things

he said he was born and raised in Birmingham in the article with Birmingham life David. Also it seems you claim he’s from Birmingham but post links he’s from Coventry David

You were wrong get over Alan

This comedy gold, watching you now try and claim you know more about the life of Guz Khan than Guz Khan himself.

Wikipedia says he is from Birmingham - yet he claims to be born in Cov?

Oh and he’s also it seems from Lancashire - well his family are - and he saw them all crying when Blackburn won the premier league - and is now Man Utd biggest fan - I think his made up existence is funnier than his stand up
