The fans that watch him weekly say he looks unfit and they perform better without him in the team. It's not like the hate has come from nowhere, I'm pretty sure they love him there generally.
Get him fit you've got a hell of a player but that might be easier said than done. I'll always support the player if he comes back but I can't see it. If he moves abroad at least we can stop this every window.
They are playing him LM out of position.

“Frank Lampard would never hire an overweight player he is super about fitness”

They're players though, not people we're talking about signing.
Not mañy would be happy about signing Wright based on the last 3 months.
People were saying Josh Sargent would have been a great signing and their ideal transfer and hes scored less than Wright this year so doubt that.

That you’ve invented a Frank Lampard that doesn’t exist to justify your own opinions.

You don't think Lampard is trying to implement a professional ethos at the club and your evidence is a photo of him with a cigar after winning a trophy, dear me.

He’s well known for smoking throughout his career and for being overweight during it. But you’ve invented his hyper fitness focused manager when there’s no evidence to claim “Lampard wouldn’t want him”

Dear me indeed. Just say it’s your opinion FFS

Yeah this season he’s still better than our other options who are apparently super fit but still not as good at football. And you know I pay to watch football not the swimsuit contest.
Sheffield United fans seem less than impressed this season.

I’m not going to pretend Gus isn’t the most entertaining player I’ve seen at the city in 30 odd years so I’m bias. But unless we’ve got someone better lined up £6m on him seems a no brainer. He’s proven in the PL as well.
And his wages?

If we were prepared to offer him the wage he'd demand, why have we not done so previously for anyone else?

He's not known for being overweight.
That was invented by bitter West ham fans.
You accuse some city supporters of being the same but the evidence regarding Gus is there to see.

And regardless of what type of career a player has they can still be 'hyper focused' on fitness as a manager. I'll ask again, do you think Lampard isn't trying to implement a professional fitness regime at the club and if so what's your evidence?

It's not happening,
1. No way they would sell for 6m, figure is so low its stupid
2. They ain't selling their POTS to us, even if they were touting him out for 6m elsewhere, our price would be more
3. Would Doug really push for a player that wanted out?
4. Wages would be an issue.

It's just not happening.

Let's just let it die and get back to the 37 year old wonderkid

Well yes a shoulder injury is unfit
Not in the same way that not living as healthily as you should is.

If Rudoni's not fully fit, then that's through bad fortune. If Hamer's not, it's through personal choice.

I'm not knocking Hamer, btw, football's clearly a job, not a lifestyle, for him. That's great, but it means he's not the player he could be.
