Depends what you signed the player for.

Doyle L1 brilliant leader with experience to take us to the next level. He just got promoted and decided to drop back to us

Kelly as above leader was brought in to add experience and quality

Grimes as above just is a better player than the other 2 above

Vik and Hamer basically funded this side now.

Dublin Leader kept us in the prem.

All for different reasons at different stages of our club. All have made massive impacts on and off the pitch. I could mention others like Fadz, Gary Mac, Keane the list goes on..

Very interested to see how he does in the premiership. Best in the league for what he does imo. Especially now Onyeka has freed him up of some of the more defensive responsibilities he had before.

Signing probably the best deep lying midfielder in the league who also appears to be a great captain for £3m was an absolute steal

I genuinely think in the right formation/set up he will still be one of our most consistent performers in prem* as well

*assuming we make it obviously

I think the best chance of Grimes being successful in the PL is if he had 2 shuttlers either side - a bit like latter-stage Pirlo in the Juventus team. If we want to still play this 442/433 hybrid he’d be eaten alive.

He will definitely need legs around him (like Onyeka has given him) but hes got a great feel of where danger is and technically very good so think he will cope. While hes not quick the amount of times you see him sprint back and cover back indicates he’s got more legs than he’s given credit for. He was just being asked to put out too many fires during our dip

We didn't know what these player's are capable of in terms of the upgrades in physical/technological assistance which I'm sure will become available to us,Chelsea players for instance used to have their blood cleaned, don't know if that is the case now though.
Assistance in getting over injuries etc, although that maybe available to us now I'm thinking oxygen therapy/chambers?
