Lots of us earlier were thinking of possibly getting 3 new signings today! Am I the only one that's slightly disappointed?

think we are more likely to sign a couple in the loan window

Yes but there's still a bit of time to hopefully get another striker in. Wouldn't mind another CB too but that's just me being greedy.

Yes. It makes a nice change that we aren't losing our better players for once. We've also cut a player that should never have been re-signed and hopefully it'll allow us to bring in a loan after Feb 2nd.

Getting rod off the wage bill was miraculous, appreciate what you've got! On a more serious note a few signings would help but on the whole our squad is capable at this level and an absolute revelation after how last year turned out

We have no money to buy, our activity will probably be in the loan market, or even out of contract players that can be signed at anytime.

Im not too disappointed tbh i wasnt expecting 3 players. Thought maybe Madine but tht is all! I do expect maybe 2 players to come in loan window but i am happy with the team as it is and we haven't really freed up much in terms of wages to allow incoming players?

Signed Clarke, Adams, bailey & moussa this window for the temporary loss of 3 players on loan and one cancelled contract. Good work

Would have liked to sign a new CB or maybe a pacey ST to feed off Clarke.
Still think this squad is capable of good things without additions.

Will probably sign this Danny fella on trial soon, doesn't have to be in the window. Possibly get Henshall as well when loan window opens. Only one we were really hopeful for was Madine but I never thought that deal was realistic tbh

we got one (apparently) and done our business earlier. Yes we have a far from polished side but wasn't expecting mass signings tonight. Usually we worry about losing players about this time so actually nice to not have to worry about that!

We've done decent business in the window as a whole, the furore around deadline day itself is just a Sky invention to keep that grey-haired Scottish guy alive.

Any 3 of the players we have been linked with can sign after the window closes. Prem youngster and marine on loan and that Sheffield utd guy is free transfer

We've done ok this window. Made a few permanent signings, expect another player or maybe 2 when the loan window opens again ..

Unless there is a player who would walk straight into the starting line up why would we sign squad players.

It is very rare that the big clubs make big signings in January as the real deals are done in the summer. Our squad is good enough to maintain our challenge for the play offs now so I am not worried, in fact I am happy that none of our better players have been poached.

I thought Maxine was to be a loan as was the case with the prem lad

So the deadline is not relevant.

And sent brown back.

Gets better and better - Let Hussey and O'donavan go, sent back Brown, loaned out McDonald, Burge & Phillips and signed permanently Adams, Moussa & Clarke and signed Bailey on loan to the end of the season - Wow!! That's real progress!

Add this young striker and a loan and that gives us one hell of a chance of play offs

So what you're saying we shipped out 6 players who were either deadwood or were never going to get near the first team and in return signed 4 players that are definite starters most weeks

Sounds pretty good to me

You could argue that bailey, Moussa and Adams were all retained so not really 'ins'
