Wouldn't say it's gammon pointing out people / groups who support terrorist organisations.

Politics being there, it's why it's shit.

I think the only fair punishment is to insist that Glastonbury doesn’t take place at all next year.

2bf whoever is in charge of marketing Kneecap is a genius - roped in Suella Braverman to introduce them when she tried to deny them funding that they were entitled too

and now - Badenoch and Starmer have fell for it and given them even more publicity.

They have already heeded to your request.

No Glastonbury next year.

Though it isn't on anyway, because it's a fallow year.

Yeah but I’m sure with the right press release they can convince the Daily Mail etc that they’re doing it to make sure they’re thoroughly depoliticising the festival.

Is this the first time you paid attention to Glastonbury? Or any festival? Or non pop music generally?

The only Neil Young I know was a footballer for Man City.

Any thoughts on Hull Tony - selection, tactics, formation?

this thread is like when you see a post from Rage Against the Machine and the replies are Americans saying they aren't going to listen anymore because they've suddenly gone political

He apparently got the crowd to chant something along the lines of death to IDF soldiers or death to Israeli military and free Palestine chants also.

Ha ha, the Neil Young that took his music off Spotify because Joe Rogan was saying things he disagreed with, then changed his mind and returned to them.

I think calling for the death of certain people from on stage has a pretty clear conflict with the conventions of free speech.

Shouting ‘death to the IDF’ is not antisemitic - unless of course people are conflating being an Israeli soldier committing genocide to being Jewish…. Which in itself is antisemitic.

Don’t think their politics have changed much and unsure of what the individual members are doing these days? Other than watching Tom Morello and his mad YouTube videos.

There’s arguments to be had about them selling out in the past I guess?
