I think the only fair punishment is to insist that Glastonbury doesn’t take place at all next year.
They have already heeded to your request.

No Glastonbury next year.

Though it isn't on anyway, because it's a fallow year.

Yeah but I’m sure with the right press release they can convince the Daily Mail etc that they’re doing it to make sure they’re thoroughly depoliticising the festival.

Wouldn't say it's gammon pointing out people / groups who support terrorist organisations.

Politics being there, it's why it's shit.

Is this the first time you paid attention to Glastonbury? Or any festival? Or non pop music generally?

How are the melts this morning? Still crying over free speech? I see Neil Young closed with 2 protest songs.
Ha ha, the Neil Young that took his music off Spotify because Joe Rogan was saying things he disagreed with, then changed his mind and returned to them. 🤭

this thread is like when you see a post from Rage Against the Machine and the replies are Americans saying they aren't going to listen anymore because they've suddenly gone political
The irony being rage against the machine are the machine themselves now

Don’t think their politics have changed much and unsure of what the individual members are doing these days? Other than watching Tom Morello and his mad YouTube videos.

There’s arguments to be had about them selling out in the past I guess?
The anti capitalist band of the 90’s selling tickets for 100’s and 1000’s in their last tour
