Match Thread Getafe Vs Coventry City 19/07 18:00

[procdoc]

We still can’t take corners though

[fatso]

at 17?!

Start them young at the academy

[Nick]

There isn't even a bench for our players!

Tavares in a kit though!

[Nick]

Sheaf looks like he was stamped on after the ball too.

[fatso]

Niggly Spanish bustard left his boot in on Sheaf

[procdoc]

Andrews and Obikwu are both units

[skybluecam]

We’re looking good I reckon

[SkyBlueStallion_89]

Has the cameraman being drinking all day??

[shmmeee]

That number 7 has been flattened about five times.

[Skybluekyle]

Quite like watching with foreign commentators, trying to piece together what they just said based on nouns. Think they just mentioned Luton Town

[Deleted member 7943]

These finished 12th in la liga last season

[Nick]

Im sure they just said Ian Van Dahl, waiting for Castles in the Sky.

Sounds like the same experience listening to Clive

[skybluecam]

New kit looking fit tbf, grown on me

[sometimesDanielle]

My Spanish is not the best.
They keep banging on about Sakamoto though.
Oh and they had to mention losing to Luton in the play off final.
Also KOS looks a lot better on the back.

[Nick]

The lino / 4th official may as well sit on their bench to chat with their coach.

[shmmeee]

Considering probably 7 of this team won’t start vs Stoke as well…

[Darth Robins]

Coventry City es el diablo

[CCFCBat]

Sheaf looks a bit pissed off.

How on earth can you tell that

[andrew.roberts]

Only 8000 watching on YouTube according to the commentator

Because he looked annoyed when they finally turned up and then when they were messing about for pictures.

Could see his face / body language towards them.

[Ccfcisparks]

Andrews is dealing with the physicality of this spanish side really well.

[procdoc]

I really like our press

[SeaSeeEffCee]

Are getafe at decent strength here ?

Looking at FlashScore most of their team played 25+ games last season in La Liga with a couple of kids.

He's a unit, so is Obikwu.

[Earlsdon_Skyblue1]

Now we've got the Spanish Martin Wynch giving his input.

'He's broken his leg Clive, but it looks like he'll carry on'.

[AFCCOVENTRY]

Good to see Sheaf leaving a foot in the player

[Nick]

in La Liga with a couple of kids.

Greenwood has left

He's a tough cookie

[Sbarcher]

Fouls only allowed to be given to Getafe!

[skybluecam]

Tactically, midfield 3 definitely looks flatter rather than a 2 and a 10

[Danceswithhorses]

Lets hope with all these juicy tackles flying in, that there isnt a punch up this evening.

[hill83]

Good to see Sheaf leaving a foot in the player

That’ll sting

[Nick]

We finally got a free kick after their player dragged Binks down.
