1st game of the season. I remember that Speedie goal well.

I was sat in the Skyblue Terrace so if you squint you can probably see me in background. I was 12 and I went to the game on my own cos my dad was busy.
Nowadays not sure my parents wouldn’t have the soshe knocking their door for letting me go.

Didn't see one game from that whole season....what I call my enforced wilderness years.....where all my fecking around at games for the previous 4 years finally caught up with me. I do remember the stadium with all that fencing up and half empty stadium though....dark days for football.
