They are outcasts in society even if they are growing slightly. As you've seen, out yourself as a member of the far right you get fired and tbf I can kinda see why, although I respect you for not being comfortable with that, I'm not either. The comments he made that Otis put up are far more of a sackable offence than the plane so maybe he got what he deserved anyway.
But on the other hand you have this Cambridge professor who's been backed by her employers for her anti white tweets (Google it if you haven't seen it.) This kind of thing does nothing but stoke the flames of division and is doing the far rights recruitment for them.

I fear you're under estimating them Tom though it's one of those arguments where I hope I'm wrong.

As for the professor I haven't seen it but those comments seem clearly racist.

I try to advocate for free speech which is why I said the Burnley fella shouldn't have been sacked (based on the plane stunt I hadn't seen his social media comments at the time).
But I think a free speech debate needs a thread of its own as it's a big discussion.

Also no one thinks Boris is "Far Right", he's a chancer with no political morals that sides with whichever side he thinks will win.

His actions pre pandemic as were very Gladstonian Liberal.

Is that not whataboutism that people hate?

Farage and Hopkins are horrible cunts. It doesn't mean people who sway the other "way" can't be horrible cunts.

Hopkins made a career out of being a c**t, she is in the same bracket as Piers Morgan. All about the reaction.

They are calculated as opposed to the braindead knuckledraggers.

You're argument really is on shaky ground when you're comparing Farage and Hopkins to Morgan

I actually think it's a bit unfair on Farage lumping him in with Hopkins to be honest

Nah, they are all in the bracket of "horrible cunts who will stir things up as much as they can".

Agree, if they took the political compass test I think Hopkins would be significantly to the right of Farage.

Hopkins seems to currently be trawling the small social media apps like Telegram to try and raise funding so that she can "sue twitter". I actually thought that she had some kind of mental illness when she was coming out with her stuff, she can't be all there.

And I've slated Morgan for that. Got banned from.twitter for calling him out on it.
But this debate is about race baiting and stirring trouble.
Morgan not in the same league as the others especially Hopkins.

They really aren't there a menace.
I'm not sure which branch of the authorities released figures on the far right threat in the last couple of weeks but they said there was a 6 or 7 percent increase in foiled attacks yet people bang on about Ash Sakar!

Speaking of Ash Sarkar, I see she posted a photo on Twitter of her eating an ice lolly in a park, an hour before the Reading attack, but some just saw the photo without even bothering to look at the time she posted it, and she got a shed load of racist abuse and death threats and someone said they were going to pour petrol over her and set her on fire.

What is happening with people these days?

Someone exposed who was "funding" her once, will try to find it. It was all about money for her, however like you say when you'll stoop to Hopkins levels to make a bit of money you're one hell of a c**t.

This now appears to officially be the c**t thread.

We could talk about it for ages, in my eyes the only way the far right gets the numbers to be a threat is if reasonable people get pushed there.

Think she posted it after the attack which some mentalists on the other "side" took it as mocking because she put 3 emojis.

That's the thing, the racist cunts giving her abuse are wrong. She is wrong for coming out with racist comments as well to stir things up but goes on ITV and forgets to mention her previous comments.

I'm not sure there are any more hardcore left/ right wingers, the problem is that the country is now so divided that there are a whole lot more people who can be swayed & persuaded to take one of those stances & "pick a side"

That's the thing, people will see the guy with the plane get sacked. They will see white people shot by police and ignored and then see people make racist comments and be supported by their employers and start to fall for Tommy Robinson type shit.

There needs to be balance, there needs to be more Dizzee Rascals, there needs to be more people like the guy who saved the bloke from getting a kicking, there needs to be more of the veterans and BLM protestors sitting having a chat in the sun. You don't see that, you see riots and anger. You see the police getting beaten.

No she posted it in the evening.

Again, people posting nooses and all that bullshit? Scum

I think she is in the clever, calculated bracket. She gets all the braindead, knuckledraggers worked up and then plays off it.

Again, it isn't standing up for him to point out there are others in positions who haven't lost their jobs for stirring up racial tension. Yeah it turns out the guy is a c**t, wants to be mates with Tommy Robinson. I am just pointing out there needs to be consistency.

Go extreme "right" with your comments and you lose your job, go extreme "left" and you get a slot on a morning TV show to keep pushing views.

This is part of the issue, it's almost as if some things can't be mentioned. Do people want discussions or is it a case of "shut up and listen and what is said, goes"?

Yeah, the photo was in the day but then she posted it after the attack. As she has posted racist stuff in the past, mentalists then took the 3 oranges as representing the 3 people who were reported dead in that attack by that time. That's the picture I got from it.

She effectively does a great job of fishing for all the racist, Tommy Robinson hugging types and then says it's because she is a Muslim woman. (Nothing to do with any of her comments, ever). She has a massive great net and they all run into it.

Ahhh- I saw that where someone got accused of gloating about the attacks as she had 3 oranges in a picture, she got loads of abuse & it made no sense at all to me- I didn't realise she was a known figure, I thought she was just a random member of the public, now I get it.

There's the asian girl who loves a bit of baiting on social media. The one who made the video saying the white population of London is down but the Minority is double and "we are winning". She seems to get a slot on ITV as an expert because of it.

Now imagine if a white bloke made the same comments that if the number of black people / muslims etc was going down and white people going up and said "We are winning".

I agree with this. That kind of wording of 'winning/losing' suggests it's a battle with the intention to about gaining supremacy rather than equality.

At best it's very poor wording, at worst letting the mask slip on true intentions.

There are a fair few who seem happy to judge a white person based on their skin colour, when that is supposedly what they want to eradicate. Like when Collymore called a white person a honky and when someone called him a racist he replied he couldn't be because he was black.

I'm sure half of these millennial twitter lot that keep on going on about "white people needing to educate themselves" don't understand half of the stuff about race relations/slavery etc. They;re quick to point out that white people have no idea what it's like to be a black person, which is true, but they come across as seemingly knowing what it's like to be a white person even though, like them, those experiences can vary massively for a variety of reasons. If you went to a dozen different black people you'd get a dozen different responses on their issues and problems

They probably do understand what it's like to be unfairly targeted but that doesn't mean they fully understand all the issues or solutions. Terry the truck driver probably understands what it feels like to be judged for being working class - doesn't mean he understands the history or complexity of class divide or that he has the answers to it.

These kinds of peaceful, non-confrontational gestures are precisely the kinds of things that the football community has been doing for days now (taking a knee, BLM on the shirts etc), yet people still complain it's being 'shoved down our throats' and start leaping to the defense of those who would try to undermine even the most token gestures of support.

It seems highly convenient to me that the only kinds of things you want to see more coverage of are the things that make you feel like everything's fine and you don't need to challenge your own way of thinking one bit.

Not at all, if you read my posts I have said about the stuff Prince William did for mental health. Real hard hitting stuff that opened eyes to mental health in football / men in general.

Kneeling before a match is just that, a gesture. Isn't it? The same as clapping the NHS was, then it slowly died out and nobody knew when to stop doing it as they didn't know if people would think they weren't bothered about the NHS.

I'd much rather here from balanced people like Robbie Earle, like Dizzee Rascal, like the humble guy who jumped in to save the bloke from getting a kicking than people who take it too far the other way and start to stereotype white people.

What you see in the media is spun to high heaven to sell papers, not saying stuff doesn't go on or burying my head but let's not pretend they don't do their best to fuel it.

Someone far left today would've been considered a centrist in the 70's. Certainly nowhere near radical enough to be in power.

Take the unions - the leaders are largely ignored by many as being radical but they're hardly Scargill are they?

Exactly, that's what I mean about the media. It's almost as if it's pushing some sort of battle. Piers Morgan trying to draw Dizzee Rascal into it as hard as he could is a perfect example.

The same when he made the Madeline McCann stuff about race, clearly it's a class thing but it was all about her skin colour.

People want to push a divide.
