Did anyone see the video?

Most disturbing thing I've ever watched. Looking back maybe i shouldnt, but you literally see a man be murdered by a copper. Fucking scumbag. Disgraceful, all of it. How this still happens in this day and age is beyond me

Although I agree it does feel like they've tried the organised, peaceful approach for a long time and got nowhere. In most successful protest movements there will be a period of peaceful protest followed by an escalation into more extreme/violent methods before looking to resolve it more diplomatically at the end. But it seems like that violent period is required somewhere along the line to be effective.

I think this reaction is also a culmination of other things regarding Covid, Trump etc and this was the straw that broke the camel's back. Although there will be some just using it as an excuse to cause trouble. Who knows, maybe even some who have racist views doing it to try and discredit it.

Ive got issues with Antifa which is why I've never expressed support for them.Theyd probably call me a facist for disagreeing with them on the points I disagree with them. That's how they operate.

With all due respect, there is footage on line of them arresting several white mass shòters and they treat 5hem with kid gloves.
There is a massive racist element in the police in the States.

Only took a few minutes to find that there may well be more to it. The person who shot the video, Elijah Schaffer of Blaze TV (an alt right host on a Conservative online channel), has said "I cannot confirm he was the store owner". Dallas Morning News have since confirmed he wasn't the store owner.

There's a longer video which shows the man with the machete instigating the attack, running after people and trying to attack them with his machete.

Someone on twitter, well at least until the account was deleted, has claimed it was him and if it is then other tweets allegedly from the same account do not show him in a good light.
