I agree. English football being a powerhouse benefits my club, i believe we benefit from being in the strongest second division in the world and i believe if we get promoted it will completely revolutionise our club. Ultimately Coventry City is my number 1 love so that's good, i guess. I cannot pretend that i care for the sport outside of CCFC like i used to though. Absolutely. If CCFC stopped existing tomorrow the sport would be a complete irrelevance to me. I still like to stay educated on it, I like reading up on players and stuff that are doing well in crappy foreign leagues because I'm a sad act but thats mainly because I like to know what's out there for us!

Despite England getting to the later stages of tournaments more often my interest in them has fallen off too. Basically the excitement's gone from the game in general, aside from CCFC.
