Apparently ML stated the reason it has been canceled is because the "council cried off" I mean is this man for real?

Date reaarrnage for end of July 25th I think and original tickets are still valid.

That is so pathetic, they never wanted to go.. I think ML is shooting himself in the foot once again.

The real reasons are that they are afraid to face the fans and they are unable to justify their actions.

They might know the result of the JR by now. They could have put this meeting off in case the news is out beforehand and want to make sure that we don't start the season back home in Coventry without getting serious questions.

They know like we know the council even if they wanted to can't go to this meeting. Before the week of a crucial JR result and have kept a tight lip policy for the last 6 months which seems to have pissed sisu right off as you can imagine.

A week today we should know the results ourselves providing they haven't been leaked some where first which is possible.

We need the result out of the way no appeals and work the next 2-3 week solid are trying to kick off at the Ricoh. If we can sooner the better then players can be signed and optimism can start maybe for once.

@stevecarpo: A #SkyBlues fan's forum at the CTK club has been put back a month to July 25 - Council say they won't attend until after JR decision #PUSB

Let's take this as a positive that the council are willing to engage once the jr result is out.

They were willing before SISU decided on the JR. Don't get your hopes up too much. They could have set a meeting up for a week after the release of the results of the JR. Will they be willing to meet if SISU start more legal action as a month is long enough for them to do it.

Well this is the problem. Let's see how sisu feel.

I would imagine it has been cancelled because probably no one was going. CCC and ACL definitely wouldn't have been there as I expect they very well knew. Why would GH and JE turn up ,they have no real influence over the future. There has been no indication of whom would chair the meeting, or even who SISU themselves would be sending. The CT and CWR haven't to my knowledge even mentioned it.
Last year for the 3 forums, yes Fisher got a rough ride, but at least fans turned up and showed they still care. What would be immeasurably worse for SISU is to hold a fans forum, when virtually nobody turned up.
As often has been said, the opposite of love is not hate, but indifference. The fans have gone through the hate (SISU) phase, the real worry is that an awful lot of fans are now going into the indifference phase.

Could have been rescheduled because Sisu have had positive feedback through legal circles ,on result of JR. If thats the case , they have ammunition to take in to battle.

So, will we or will we not get Sisu's vision for the club and how it stacks up financially. Or has man of the people Grendel spoken for us all because he wouldn't understand it?

Maybe those who attended the super special clubs only cre about mud slinging, personally I want to know there'll be a club left when these fuckers are gone.

What exactly is the point of this? How will it get us home?

Surely if people care about the accounts it is nothing to do with them? It should only be discussed by the main players involved and people can't ask questions unless they are a main player in all of this?

I care about whether there is something I can support Nick. I want to know that we're not just blindly following Joy's vanity project and that the sums actually add up a bit.

Frankly, I don't understand what going along to hear "I was him" "No it was him" is going to achieve.

Just want to know when we're coming home now. This soap opera has got boring.

How would pouring through balance sheets and P and L accounts bring is back home?

I know you'd prefer it as it would be pointless and avoid any attention on your close friends. Seems that they will attend on July and that will be a far more relevant occasion.

Exactly why I was asking questions about Michaels bid which was apparently not allowed.

It was concluded in the mini forums that such a forum would be a pointless excercise. The forum idea itself is pointless. It would be better if one was created in which all parties were involved but its never going to happen.

I take it you mean the mini Sisu worshipping meeting you attended ?
Now you are deluded and believe in your own mind that you speak for the majority of CCFC fans !!
Are you not angry at Sisu for feeding you bullshit at these mini forums ?
How do you think the mini forums have worked out ???

Ahhh the sisu worshopping one where most people were anti sisu and who is deluded? :)

The one I was at the consensus was that the big forums would be pointless too, and the people there were anti sisu also.

I always have said a full blown forum would be a waste of time - clearly if the council are going to attend that makes it far more relevant than discussing why the fixed asset basis has declined over 12 months.

I think the fact members of the club are prepared to have dialogue with supporters is a good thing.

I think a full on debate question time style would be great with all of the main people involved.

Could also have been re-scheduled because SISU have lost the JR-let's face it it would have been the perfect forum to boast and say they were right all along.
It's too easy to read whatever you want into this cancellation, based on your personal views.
Imho, it's more likely houdi's post (#44) is correct ie not many people were going to turn up due to indifference or maybe just the sunny weather, the world cup or Wimbledon.

If I was CCC then yes, they should. As should all the major "players" in this farce.

No I don't remember them saying they would.

Why would they? A company has just dragged them through a costly crucial court case. Would you attend?

I disagree.

There is enough bad blood between them without causing any more. They should do it in private with someone neutral there that could report the truth on negotiations. And if they managed to come to an agreement to keep to it. If no agreement we could make our own minds up who's fault it is with an unbiased view taken from the neutral observer.

If the Council Knew what the result was of the JR and it was in their favour do you think they would take the opportunity to rub SISU faces in the dirt at a Forum or sit there smirking at Labovich! No they dont knowthe result yet me thinks

It has been said that the result will be known by the interested parties 6 days before the result is known to the general public IIRC. That would be today.

Fair enough. Yes, there is enough bad blood, can't disagree there, but if there's nowhere for SISU/Fisher/ML to hide, etc then the same should be true of PWKH, CCC and ACL.

CCC/ACL have told us for many months that they can't comment because of the JR, well when that's out of the way then there's no excuse not to talk to the fans. SISU have started to do it and CCC/ACL should.

After all, they are the innocent party, aren't they? They've nothing to hide.

Sorry but any public forum that is going to include all parties HAS to include Seppala.
We can't moan at the senior council people not attending if the person pulling all the strings at the club dosen't show either.

That's certainly a valid point. I'm just not sure that an open forum with fans is the place to conduct this in the first instance (for either side). In fact, I don't really know what an open forum of any kind will achieve at present - we did all this last year. Maybe some kind of "informal " dialogue between parties is the starting point; and by starting point, I mean draw a line under the past now that the JR is out of the way (I sometimes live in a very optimistic world where the glass is sometimes over flowing)

Personally if I was the council I would have nothing to do with Sisu and ignore them. That way I wouldn't be leaving myself open to more court action.
There is only one side responsible for the counsel staying quiet !!
This is why the only way forward for CCFC to return to the Ricoh with Sisu at the helm is through KCIC !!
Sisu have shot their bolt now and will be unable to deal directly with CCC / Acl. So the only way forward I can see is through a third party or new owners !

There is a very good chance that there are no innocent parties, but Higgs could be. That was what the judge said, but we don't know the whole story. But the odds are that some are more guilty than others.

And there shouldn't be any hiding places for anyone in the negotiations. They should all be there. Otherwise they could come to an agreement where the only one that don't turn up objects to any agreement.

Any new owners would want the same deal as SISU. IMO, no new owner would accept the previous rental deals from the council, and would seek something similar to what SISU have tried. It would be interesting to see people's reaction if ACL continued with the same stance, I am certain that posters on here would agree that new owners should accept whatever terms ACL offer.

If you seriously think that the only way back to the Ricoh is through KCIC, then you are seriously deluded.
