I think he would start against QPR if signed in time.
I do too

Quite often happens. Esse had only been here 5 mins before he was thrown in, wasn't he?

I would expect Onyeka to start, as long as we can get him in, in time

He can't be more out of position playing CM than Torp and Rudoni have been the last few games.

The guys been away for weeks playing internationally, he must be shattered, and this is a big move for him. I, like most of you, won't count my chickens but the interview he did with his home country media looks promising, and the fact it is FL plays a big part, IMO. This could be an amazing signing for us and a taste of what's to come should we go up.
His last game was 14th Jan he should’ve fresh as a daisy by Saturday. And is this a big move for him? He’s taking a step down. He was a prem regular at one point, don’t think the championship will phase him.

Guessing he’ll go straight in if we get him. How do we set up with him as a defensive midfielder, wouldn’t him and grimes be too defensive or could we see grimes playing further forward., would love a fully firing rudoni back, gives us a more solid midfield, now just the defence to fix

Well it’s clear we need to tighten up the middle of the pitch - recently we’ve been embarrassingly easy to pass through. You either play Onyeka and Grimes as a double pivot with Rudoni/Torp in front or Onyeka sitting deep with Torp/Eccles either side.

He wasn’t really a regular starter but a credible role player for a Brentford side that was mostly a midtable side and have never been in real danger of relegation.

Why anyone would have objections to signing him is beyond me.

He can play in whatever number he wants as long as he covers the ground, stops breaks and finds Esse, EMC, BTA, Tatsu, Noah, Minny, Rudoni, Wright or Simms to smash it in the back of the net....

I’m hoping it’s a loan with an option to buy in case he turns out to be the bollocks. If it’s a permanent deal then that’s a lot of money to spend on two players who we wouldn’t be sure about starting in the PL next season.
I assume the former in the scenario where we don’t go up.

Sounds like this is possibly coming to a conclusion. Hoping just a loan though as despite his love for breaking up playing in the middle of the park, Brentford fans all say the same which is he can’t pass the ball for toffee.

Come on Doug, get er done..... The songs for Frank the tank could be epic...
I was thinking the Shaun the Sheep theme song....

"He’s Frank The Tank, he's Frank The Tank

He's makes us dream of wins and keen to have a wank

Keep it in mind, He's one of a kind!

Oh, life's more fun with Frank The Tank"

Call it a work in progress ...🤪

He’s perfect for what we need though.

If we do make the Premier League, we aren’t going to be able to pass teams the top teams off the park and dominate games anyway and we would need more defensive minded players. Sounds like he would suit us down to the ground even if we went up.
