I don’t know why anyone cried that we signed Markelo. It’s not immediately obvious why we signed him but Lampard has a plan for the squad, we’re signing a £4.3m player* to not be involved.

No, but Sheff U are skint and in a bad place. Players also want to also play at the highest level they can so it’s just down to money.

I believe the rumour was Kai Andrews to go on loan to Wigan if we could get in a CM.

I think that would be a great loan and allow him to show what he can do in a tough league.
