I'd honestly much prefer another out of nowhere signing. Sakamoto, Torp, Hamer.etc have all been good additions with relatively little hype before they arrived. Arguably the higher profile additions like Woolf have been less successful (Rushworth the exception that proves the rule I suppose).

Hoping that Markelo is in the same mould

If we dont get a cm in its a failure by the club. This reminds me of the season under Mowbray when we didnt get any of the players he wanted originally and we slipt down the leagues.

Serious questions need asking of Austin and his team if we fail to get anyone. The same old we tried but couldn’t get it over the line wont wash anymore when you look at the our promotion challengers signing quality players to push their challenge whilst we sign our 5th and 6th winger backup

Realistically I'd say Grimes, Eccles and Torp.
Allenand Lati both played there but its not something you'd want to see.
