Yes I agree get building but surely built it a bit bigger , the stadium size is my issue , it should be built like mk dons , on normal crowds ie under 15000 only open the lower tier , then on bigger / premier league games we open the top tier say another 15000 , this is more realistic surely ......

The only realistic thing about this ground is that it won't be built.

It don't matter if you disagree with what they say or agree with them and give them an easy time. They won't put anyone forward on a fans forum that would know anything so no information will be given. It is just a ruse to try and keep fans happy whilst they try every bit of litigation they can think of trying to get the Ricoh on the cheap unencumbered. This also can't happen by law. And not just one either. This is why they are now suing a charity. Otherwise they would have sued in 2012 which is when when they say they were wronged.

I imagine the agenda will follow the last one - "Not a discussion on location for ground, Im not a SISU employee, you will have to ask them that, blah blah." Hope someone asks some more penetrating questions without it decending into a shouting match.

I love how Grendel thinks his amazing plan to "support the new stadium" (wink wink) would work!

Please explain how if the fans are behind it 100% it will change things?

He came up with a similar idea a few months ago to sell out Sixfields to show the owners that we didn't support the move to Sixfields.

It saves them having any more forums and they can get on with building a stadium. (Not that they will) But it will be one less stalling tactic out of the way. After this its best if no one else agrees to attend their forums.

Can someone ask her.

It was stated that empty seats at the Ricoh was complained about by some of the players because the colour of the seats made it difficult to see each other. With a low attendance.

Would it not be the same problem if many of the fans were wearing replica tops? If it is such a problem, should the Club sell kit to the fans? It might confuse the players on the field if they don't know who is the supporter and who is their team mate.

I think this is more of a problem. If players are struggling to tell the difference between team mates and inanimate objects (seats) of similar colour, then two human shaped objects of similar colour must be impossible for them.

Solutions could logically be the following

Make all fans dress in the team colour of the visiting team / or another team other then Blue.
Make all fans dress up as seats to make it slightly easier for the players to tell the difference.
If all fans do this then an empty stadium / stand will be impossible to notice.
Could be implemented straight away at Sixfields.
Official club figures for attendance could reflect that only the club can tell the difference between a fan and a seat.
Full house every game guaranteed.

Given that this has never been mentioned or even hinted at by any player or manager (and I can't think of any other club having this issue) how exactly she knows this is a problem given that she is nothing to do with CCFC?

So if I understand correctly ......... by "pretending" to support the new stadium .......... you intend to point out something we aleady know?

Well that would be a question to ask the Independent Forum.

I do believe this was put across as one of the reasons why we should all hate the Ricoh. Clearly it is a poor reason, but most of the reasoning around this situation has been poor.

Not that they have any intention of building this mythical shed, but surely at least 95% of teams in the country have seats that match their team's colours?

- Might have different colour seats to Sky blue as apparently the players complain they can't see each other when the Ricoh is empty

It was a point raised at the season ticket forum. Clearly it makes no sense.

Maybe it has been put in there for other purposes. We can't have people thinking this stadium will not be as good as the Ricoh, so we better create a list of problems, so we can say it will be better. Some will agree with them even if no one has ever complained about them before.

Colour of the seats, yeah right, anyone who thinks that is important in the grand scheme of things is probably useless in any decision making process.

This sums up SISUE perfectly.

This is hardly a difficult concept. If the forum generated numerous issues it gives a legitimacy for the owners to say to the football league that there will be delays to the project as fans need to be listened to.

There needs to be one message - built it now.

I would think this is what Sisu would do.
Say something just to make a point. In this instance "The Ricoh is too big and is not what fans want".

It is a shit concept. What is it going to solve?! If we support it, and they dont build it what will the football league do?! Fine them £1mill for not returning quick enough?!

This may be difficult for many and I am struggling to come to terms with it, but I think Grendull is correct on this one occasion .

But to build it now they would need land. But at least they are in talks with two different councils close to Coventry :thinking about:

I am definitely not going because I know of one or two who are!

I have an invite but can't see any point in going.
It's like talking about what cushions I want on my new yacht in Monte Carlo.
It's never going to happen.

So I'm not going even though I fancied a bit of rubber necking at a car crash.

By raising issues you are by definition buying into the concept it will be built and giving the project legitimacy. Ask yourself this - are sisu on past history concerned about consumer opinion? I assume you would answer in the negative so then ask yourself what is the purpose of the fans forum?

I know what you are saying. They want us to oppose it, but the reality is we do oppose it. Supporting the new stadium will achieve nothing for the fans.

Ask her how much additional business her Company expects to do given the publicity she is getting from her role in this farce?

Depends if they will be acting on their behalf to sue everyone they want to.

Probably less than they would have without her getting involved unless that work is coming from SISU. When they started sponsoring the highlights on youtube they weren't getting many positive comments!
