Wrexham's fixture announcement is all over the place

Oxford City?
Swansea regain their City status in the second game.
Milwall.
Middlesbrough gain an 'o' in the last game of the season.

Surprised Coventry United weren't announced as one of their fixtures

Don't think anyone has posted this but apologies if so. For those, like me, booking travel, these are the deadlines for the TV selections:

  • On the 2025/26 Fixture Release Day, selections shall be confirmed in respect of the opening weekends of the Championship and League One and League Two seasons.

  • By 3 July 2025, selections shall be announced in respect of all live broadcast matches to be played before the end of September.

  • By 31 July 2025, selections shall be announced in respect of all matches scheduled to be played prior to the end of the third round of the FA Cup (January 2026).

  • By 7 November 2025, selections shall be announced in respect of all matches to be played between the end of the third round proper of the FA Cup and the last weekend of February.

People can make assessments and assumptions based on these fixtures but unless we get a capable and hard working centre forward its going to be a hard landing for some.

Anyone know when the Bristol Rovers tickets are going on sale?
I can see that Rovers are already selling them so is it just through them? I can’t remember how friendlies work.

Getting ready for the season returning 🤣

To be fair that’s all pretty basic stuff. Frasers have done a lot since they’re been here, from what I understand there’s been a huge amount done behind the scenes as well on things like fire safety, cctv etc.

But we’re at a point now where they’re been here long enough it’s not unreasonable to expect some fairly basic stuff like giving the place a clean, working WiFi, being able to get a beer, to have been sorted.

Hopefully we’ll be pleasantly surprised when we turn up for the first game.

Why is it heartless?
It isn’t, but the current generation of wet wipes in the country mean that the efl are forced to do silly stuff. Go onto southamptons twitter and see the public outrage that they ‘dare’ to announce their new home kit after a Liverpool player died. Like they hadn’t already planned the release weeks in advance

Well in all honesty the announcement of TV fixtures isn’t really anything that can’t wait another day is it, it’s no big deal.
Also, Princess Diana was killed in a car crash 28 years ago and football in it’s entirety was cancelled that day, so not really exclusive to the current generation.
