Anyone gone? So many cov shirts and so many fans of other clubs coming up and congratulating us saying its good to see us back

The festival was superb, so much to see and do, and for a first run of it, I imagine it will be even bigger and better next year. Love or hate Clarkson, he has shone a light on british farming and hopefully improve things

How did it compare to the town and country festival we used to have there?

Was interested in this but ultimately didn't go - Did furnace end car boot yesterday. Never seen so many Arsenal shirts on display - most still plagued by moths.
Cov still in the ascendancy tho closely followed by Villa. Not a single Blues or Leper shirt to be seen.
Some arsehole in a tall van failed to negotiate a tight turn when leaving and took out the awning of the donut van.
Had to detour up Corley rocks coming home after a HUGE tree had come down across Tamworth road.
Will deffo bookmark Farmfest for next year.

Don't forget the cheese rolling, winner Dutch!

I doubt the animals enjoyed it very much

I went to furnace end last week. It was full of Romanians and brummies.

Wasn't really much about but got some steps in.

I think Facebook marketplace and vinted has killed off decent car boots.

Romanians have more or less taken over AT7 on Saturday now. That will probably fold soon.
Furnace end to be fair has a very mixed foot fall.

Who to believe?
Pretty sure I know the people at babyco,if they say it was bad, fairly confident that was the case for them.

It's hard to get something established when it's compared to an original venture, also, maybe there's less of the pie to go round when others suck the life out of everything?

I went and there were so many traders trying to sell fleeces and coats in summer, quite good quality but why did they think that would work?

My tip is sell ice cream and cold drinks, summer clothing, maybe drones would go well and a military recruitment stall might work.

Found a tent where a Saturday Morning Kitchen presenter did a session, that was v. entertaining, sadly didn't latch on to those cooking shows early enough.

Another tent had Xand Van Tuleken & Dolly VT with others talking about the scandal of shit food served in schools & hospitals.

10cc and Ricky Wilson's band were excellent. Largely middle class audience however quite a few kids & teens.

However I only bought food nothing else interested me TBH especially the £7 pints.

I'm sure they'll learn what did & didn't work.

My thoughts also. Those traders giving it the wor is me, your product is either shit, or you're targeting the wrong audience. There was almost 50 thousand people there over 3 days, if you cant at least break even with that then thats your problem, not Clarksons 🤷‍♂️
