Ah, this old chestnut. I'm sure that would be true no matter who owns us. If new owners came in tomorrow then I betcha CCFC wouldn't own it, they would. Fact!

Shit. I didn't realise we were ground sharing at Walsall. There's no "fact" in what John has said.

what would you prefer? 5 more terrible seasons at ricoh then bust?

like i said its not ideal and i dont even have trust in sisu to make it work long time. i am just saying i can agree with what sisu are spouting publicallyat the moment, whether they are truthful or not is a different matter.

the fact that sisu havent laid out for the fans what the structure of ownership and also on what terms CCFC will be playing at the Ricoh should sisu gain controll sets alarm bells ringing in my head.

if we were going to like the set up surely they would have laid it out by now as they could do the best PR they have done since they have taken over in one statement. hell, they may even fill suxfields while trying to get this deal done for CCFC.

you can say the same for imagination land should they ever get serious about building it.

you may well be right. very few people get into football ownership at professional level these days for the love of the club. thats why i like the german model and i dont mean Claudia Schiffer either (although i do rate her)

So you believe in Sisu's conspiracy theory ? The one that a judge has just ridiculed and thrown out of court ?

also might not. does it not concern/worry you in the slightest that we dont have the slightest idea on what any arrangements between the club and its owners will be should they gain control of the ricoh? especially when it would be such a simple thing to do. especially when a good arrangement would not only win them support from the clubs fan base but also turn the clubs fan base on the very people they claim are damaging the club, both of which they have failed to manage.

it seems such an easy statement to make what other conclusion can you come too other than we are not going to like the arrangements? out of the frying pan and into the fire.

of course it concerns me

but we already know that a deal with the council kills the club.

so is it not worth trying something else? what do we have to lose? ccfc will die if we continue to let council feast on it.

We know that Sisu have decided recently that the council deal kills the club, but they were happy to defend it as recently as 2011, and the debts total far more than the rent paid.

Lack of income and no control on wages are to blame, and what worries me is Sisu who have overspent on wages and failed miserably to engage the fanbase will keep running the club into the ground.

I'm less concerned about the rent than the overall strategy to be honest.

but you're quite happy for sisu to feast on it? this on top off the management fee's and interest payments to arvo?

Apologies, it must have been the line "Walsall’s Banks’s Stadium is the most likely temporary home for the Sky Blues but that move and the relocation to the planned new stadium need League approval." that confused me.

crikey. i never realised that the rent made up all the operating cost. there was me thinking it was a percentage and not even the biggest percentage.

like i said. how easy would it be to inform your customers what the arrangements will be. the fact that they havent should sound alarm bells, its the easiest pr ever. a bit like the co-op group not wanting to announce end of year results.

What worries me about all of this isn't so much Sisu winning what they want per se, but whether they can fix the damage they've done to fan relations.

They literally couldn't have handled that side worse in all this. We should all be like CC4L shouting at anyone who stands in the way of our great club, but they managed to fuck it up so badly through refusal to talk to anyone, attacking people who questioned them, etc. that I'm not sure they know how to build the fanbase back up, whether at the Ricoh, Sixfields or the Stadium of Joy.

Yes you do, you constantly slag the council off. Hardly being impartial is it?

You say there's only a carcass of the club left after the council have been feeding off it?

Sisu have racked up debts of 45 million and rising. Six years of rent at 1.3 million equals 7.8 million.

Can you explain where the other 37.2 million has gone?

i would imagine if we get back home people will remember CCFC and forget SISU hopefully. if they stump up cash for players that is. have backed recent managers, lets hope that continues.

Hi Michael.

1. Most fans want us back at the Ricoh asap - obviously yes.
2. Comments from players like Wilson make it clear they want to be back at the Ricoh too - you would hope so. Who wants to play in front of non league size crowds?
3. The last offer made by ACL was shown by Clive Eakin to be financially beneficial to the club compared with being at NTFC - I live in Yorkshire so don't often get to listen to CWR these days, however, anyone with an ounce of common sense could see it would be better financially to be at the Ricoh on any deal (assuming we maintain same crowds as before we moved out).
4. It would be good for fans, players and club finances to return to the ricoh even on a short-term rental deal - that's an obvious yes.
5. The sides could then take as long as needed for a long-term agreement without the damage being done by being at NTFC - within reason, yes.
6. The process is therefore for sisu to say we will return on the basis of the last ACL offer - if only they would. Can't see it though.
7. If ACL then renege on that deal all fire is aimed at them - not necessarily. Would need to understand the reasoning.

No-one really disagrees with you on what should happen Michael. This is what you don't seem to understand. No-one is pro sisu or anti ACL. What I believe is that pressure needs to be applied to both sides. Both need to be more flexible and communicate better. The problem is that both sides are stubborn and it seems to be personal. To be honest I think sisu have always been delaying until the JR has been heard.

Getting other club's cast offs in on loan is hardly backing managers.

Where's the other 37.2 million gone?
